Gamertale- Music Boxes and Monsters

  It was around evening, and The sun was setting on the island where Gamer and Ghost lived, Gamer was heading back home after a long day, Gamer yawns and stretched his arms way over his head, as he approached his home. Gamer grabbed the doorknob, and turned it, opening the door, eager to see his cousin; Ghost greeting him, just like he does every night. 

"Ghost! I'm home!" Gamer walked into the room with a big smile on his face, but is greeted to find Ghost nowhere to be seen, Gamer cocks his head to the side, thinking ghost must be out somewhere, Gamer walks into the kitchen, but notices a sticky note on the door, he rips it off the door, and reads it.

"Your Dinner is in the Microwave, Just set your food for three minutes, and it should be ready."
-Ghost

Strange...Usually Ghost greets gamer with a warm welcome, along with the fresh aroma of freshly made pizza filing the house, which was one of the best parts of the night, But it wasn't the same... Gamer sighed deeply, and opened the microwave to find cold, leftover pizza, gamer narrowed his eyes, and he set the microwave for three minutes, Gamer sighed and sat down on his beanbag chair, leaning back into it, and shutting his eye sockets, he had a long day after all, and he began to slowly drift to sleep, But he new something Strange was going on, It felt unnatural to gamer, Ghost wasn't there to greet gamer, and Gamer didn't cook any dinner either... Speaking of dinner...

Beep!~ Beep!~ Beep!~

Gamer flinched at the sudden beeping of the microwave going off. He opened his eyesockets, and stood up, walking into the kitchen, he reaches up to the microwave, and pulls out a plate of last night's pizza, he hesitates for a moment, staring at the pizza, and he sighs, reaching into the fridge, and pulls out a bottle of pizza sauce, and sits back down on his chair, and picks up a slice, ready to take a bite, But is interrupted by the sound of a loud crash coming from upstairs. Gamer flinches, and puts his pizza down, and runs upstairs, listening to the sound of fumbling coming from Ghost's room, Gamer Sprints down the hallway, and swings ghost's door open, to find Ghost on the floor, upside down, wrapped around in a blanket, trying to climb back up onto his bed.

"G-Ghost..! what are you doing down there?"

"Nngh!..I...I just fell out of bed...that's all..." Ghost sighed, and climbs up onto his bed, and enveloping himself in his blanket, curling up into a fetal position.

Gamer cocked an eyebrow at ghost, and he sits down on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong ghost..? You didn't come greet me like every night, and you didn't cook anything, you HATE leftovers!..Is there something bothering you..?" Gamer looks down at ghost.

Ghost stayed silent for a moment, and let out a quiet mumble, that was incomprehensible, Gamer cocked his head, and nudged him lightly, Ghost squirmed lightly, and he scoots away from gamer.

Oh come on Ghost, are you seriously not gonna tell me what's wrong?~" Gamer gave an amused smile, but when ghost stayed silent, his smile faded, and scoots closer to ghost, and crosses his arms, and waits for ghost to speak.



After what seemed like an hour, Ghost finally spoke, he sighed, and poked his head out from his blanket, and sat up, the blanket slowly sliding off ghost's back.

"Gamer...Do i Seem like a burden on you..?" Ghost spoke in a soft, almost weak tone.

"Wh-what??" Gamer's eyes widened, and he scoots closer to ghost. "Are you kidding me?? No! never!" Gamer wraps his arms around ghost, pulling him into a tight hug, until Ghost pulls away, looking at gamer in the eyes.

"But i never do anything special here!" Ghost narrows his eyes, looking up at gamer, his face becomes flushed, as if he's on the verge of tears.

"That's not true, Ghost! you're an incredible help to me! you keep everything organized, and in order, you feed us, and help earn money for the two of us, and it makes all the effort and stress in my job worth it, for what you do!"

"Y-yeah but-"

"Plus! you have a lot of free time, so you can practice with videogames, which makes you the perfect partner for my magic joystick." Gamer smiled at ghost, putting his hand on ghost's shoulder.

Ghost sighed deeply, and grabbed gamer's hand, pushing it off of his shoulder, and he turns away. "Thanks, gamer...but that doesn't fix the fact I still think I'm useless...i don't do enough for what I'm worth."



Gamer narrows his eyes at ghost and sighs, he stands up, hesitating for a moment, before an idea sparked into his skull, He couldn't help but grin, he turns back to ghost, and sits back down on the bed.

"Heeeyyyy Ghost, I know what'll cheer you up~" Gamer said with a wild grin, Ghost sighed, and looked over at gamer with sad eyes, he shakes his head, and looks at him with a halfhearted look, humoring gamer, for what idea he had.

Gamer grinned and he wraps his arms around ghost, causing ghost's eyes to widen, Gamer pulled him into his lap, and he began spidering his bony fingers across ghost's belly.

"A-Ah!! Aheeheeheehe! -snort- G-gahhahahamerr!! nooohohoh! stooohohop! -squeal- ihihim nohohoht in the moohoohoohood!" Ghost whined, squirming in gamer's arms

Oh come on~! I'm just trying to put you INTO the mood~" Gamer giggled, and he pulls up ghost's shirt, and places his "lips" -well, more like teeth, Anyways- he places his teeth onto gamer's belly, not yet blowing a raspberry, he wants to tease him as much as he could.

Ghost let out a loud squeal, and he arches his belly, trying to push at gamer's face, but gamer forcefully pushes his face closer to gamer's belly, and he inhales deeply, blowing a raspberry on his belly. Ghost squawked with laughter, he shuts his eyes, and shakes his head, flailing his arms, and tries kicking his legs. Gamer giggles and he skitters his fingers across his ribs.

"Coochie coochie Coo!~ Is the little Ghost ticklish?! Yet he is!~" Gamer teased, which caused ghost to be thrown into hysterics, he wheezes with laughter, and arches his sides wiggling in gamer's lap, ghost didn't know why; but Tickle-Talk ALWAYS drove Ghost crazy, it made the tickling worse by Tenfold.

Gamer giggled, and a little devious smirk on his face was painted on his face, He used magic to make his teeth sharper, and his eyes glow, and he wiggles his fingers teasingly down at ghost, whom was still giggling.

"Raaawr!~ Remember me Ghost?? I'm the tickle monster! and i feast on my prey! Laughter makes me Stronger!~"

Ghost gasped and his eyes widened, he tries squirming out of gamer's lap, but before ghost could get far, gamer dug his bony fingers into ghost's sides, and ribs

"AGH! NOOOhohohoho!~ G-Gahahhahahamer!! eheeheehee!! st-stahahahahph!" Ghost begged, squirming in place.

"Rrrr-ra-ah!! Nomnomnomnom!~ but you taste so delicious!~" Gamer giggles, and spiders his fingers along ghost's belly, Ghost threw his head back in laughter, and pushes gamer's hands away.

"Hehehehehahah! hnhnhnhn~ Hahahahaha!" Ghost's squirms grew weaker, and his laughter growing breathier, Gamer smiled pitifully down at his cousin, deciding to let up, he wraps his arms around ghost, pulling ghost closer to him, Ghost yawned and curled up into a little ball beside gamer.

"Hehe~ You okay?" Gamer cocks his head to the side, smiling warmly at his sleepy cousin, Gamer giggled breathily, and lays his head down on gamer's lap, Gamer smiled once more, leaning back on on the bed, pulling the blanket onto both of them, ghost yawned again, and snuggled closer to gamer, burying his face into gamer's chest.

"Hmm~ you've had a rough night, get some sleep ghost, alright~?"

gamer looked down at ghost, but found him already asleep, Ghost cocked and eyebrow, and he smiles, leaning down, bumping his "nose" against ghost's forehead, gamer let out a yawn, and lied down, pulling ghost closer, his eyes fluttering shut, as he drifts off to sleep, listening to the little music box, that filled the room with it's gentle chimes as it plays its little tune, as the two skeleton boys slept silently, and peacefully together...
