Alone ill stay: Poem

They say you'll get over it, they say it's no big deal, but it's my life and mine to heal. You don't own me, you can't tell me what to do, I am my own person and you yours too. Live your life the way you want, but don't rule mine, for it is special and sublime. I'm asking nicely, I'm asking sweetly, don't follow, don't come after me. I'll only cause you pain and suffering, so keep your distance and stay safe, I am fine alone and alone I'll stay.
