Did I do that? Did I hurt my best friend? The person I'm suppose to adore and cherish the most.

Memories flashed through her mind of Alex and herself. Thinking as hard as she could, she over thought herself and got a little lightheaded.

How am I supose to go on not knowing if I did this to her or not?

Walking around a while she crept up to a tree. Thinking as hard as possible at the moment, she then heard something faint in the distance. Holding her breath to make things less noisey around her she heard voices. Peeking her head around the edge of the tree, just to the point where her right eye could see things around her.

Quickly pulling head back around the tree and slaming her back against the tree, she gasped. there were two men standing there in the mix of all the dead bodies. Elena tried to make out what they were saying, holding her breath again and concetrating, she heard one of them say: she must have done this...then the other man said: there is no way she could have done all this.

Who are they talking about? Me? No, why would they be talking about me I dont even know them.

Standing there thinking to herself she heard the voices more clearer. They were getting closer. "Elena, you still here sweetie?" one of the men had yelled out. Gasping qietly, Elena covered her mouth. So it is me they are talking about. Wait did I really do all this? Should I run? Should I stay and hopefully they will just go the other way?

The voices became louder and louder. Taking the chance Elena ran for it. Running as fast as she could she aimed towards the house. Looking back she saw the two men split up and run different ways. She was only a few houndred feet from the house. As she turned back to her target she tripped over a hole in the ground. She tried to stand up, but when she tried she realized her ankle was sprained.

She got up onto her feet and looked into the distance. Elena knew it was begining to get dark again. How long have I been wondering around here, moping and grieving? Looking into the newly appearing fog she squinted her eyes to see clearly, then she glanced over her shoulder at the house. She heard a growl coming from a only a few yards away. A shadowy figure of an animal emerged through the fog.

Is that a wolf? Where did the men go?

Another growl came from behind Elena. She tuned her head to check it out and saw that a figure three fourths the size of a automobile, was trotting around her to join the other figure upon the fog. It had seemed as if the first figure was leader or something. They slowly prowled along side each other towards Elena. She backed away a few inches, then took another chance and ran as fast as she could with a hurt ankle and huge wolves chasing her.
