Our Little Universe

Our little universe,
It started with you.

When I was on my own,
And I had no clue.

Life was to be a struggle,
And that was okay.

Because I had you, baby,
To cherish every day.

We were not rich,
But we were not poor.

Cause when we had each other,
We needed nothing more.

I couldn't keep a promise,
And neither could you.

And that would make us angry,
For a minute or two.

When our furnishings were getting old,
And seen so much harass.

You would buy some super glue,
And help me fix the glass.

I was odd and strange,
And you were very crazy.

when I try to remember our normal selves,
It gets a little hazy.

I was just like you,
And you were just like me.

We were leading actors,
In our own little fantasy.

It wasn't a fairytale,
We had our ups and downs.

But when I got too flustered,
You could remove my frown.

You were hard to understand,
And I'm sure I was too.

But in life's complications,
You knew what to do.

Life was so simple without you,
But I'd never reverse.

Cause I wouldn't be living,
In our little universe.
