Getting to know eachother

Tessa's POV
Chance and Anthony are so fun. They are exactly like Jake. I guess that is why they are best friends. I still don't know them too well. Maybe I'll talk to them.
Jake: Tessa! We are going to dinner, want to come?
Tessa: I wish I could, but I gotta edit my vlog.
Jake: I see. It's all about that mindset.
Tessa: You know me so well Jake.
Jake: I know! After all, you are like my little sister.
Tessa: And your like my big brother.
Jake: Well anyway, you edit. We'll be back in 2 hours or so.
Tessa: Ok. Bye Jake!
Jake: Bye Tess!
Chance's POV
Jake asked me if I wanted to go to dinner. I know it's my first day in L.A. but I felt really sick from the plane. So i decided to stay at the house. I was sitting in my bed. I was thinking of Tessa. As much as i tried, i couldn't get her out of my head. I then decided to get my mind of things and get something to eat.
Tessa's POV
I was sitting on the couch editing when I heard a door slam upstairs. I got so scared. Who was in the house?! I grabbed a pillow and ran around the corner and through it at the person. I realized it wad Chance. So much for first impressions
Chance: Ow *laughing*
Tessa: Sorry Chance. I thought you were a robber. (helps him up)
Chance: It's cool. And man you got a good arm.
Tessa: Well...I am considered as one of the guys.
Chance: So I'm guessing Jake didn't tell you I was here.
Tessa: Nope! I swear he has short term memory lost.
Chance: *laughs* You know your pretty funny Tessa.
Tessa: Really?
Chance: Yeah! I was just about to get something to eat. Want me to make you something?
Tessa: Wait...you cook?
Chance: I just realized you don't know a lot about me. Sit down. While I cook I'll tell you about myself.
Tessa: Ok! *sits down* Spill.
Chance: Obviously my name is Chance.
Tessa: No dip.
Chance: *smiles* I lived in Ohio most of my life. In kindergarten i met Jake. We weren't really friends until 4th grade where we both got in trouble for starting a food fight.
Tessa: *laughs* That does sound like Jake.
Chance: We have been great friends ever since. Tony moved to Ohio when he was 14. Jake and I were playing football in the park, when we saw Tony sitting on a bench. We asked him if he wanted to play, and we all became best friends.
Tessa: Cool!
Chance: During high school I played sports, but when we were 17 Jake decided to move to L.A. I was crushed. He was my basically my brother. Luckily I still had Tony.
Tessa: Aw. That must've been horrible.
Chance: It was. But it was Jake's dream! So I was supporting him. Tony and I were broke. We wanted to do more with our lives. So during high school, everyday after school, Tony and I would be chefs at a restaurant!
Tessa: So that's where you learned to cook!
Chance: Exactly. After we graduated, we decided we didn't want to go to college. So we kept on working and 2 years later we had enough money to fly out here! Now, here I am!
Tessa: Wow! You've been through a lot.
Chance: Yeah. Tell me about you!
Tessa: Well my life isn't as exciting as yours.
Chance: I doubt that. You are one of the best girls I know.
Tessa's POV
Did here really just say that?! No way!
Tessa: Well...I was born in Fresno. When I was 2 I started dance. And dance is my life.
Chance: Oh yeah! You danced in that movie with Jake. You are really good!
Tessa: Thanks. Anyway...i grew up in Fresno with my sister. When I was 16 I got coasted to be a dancer in the Youtube Red movie Dance Camp.
Chance: and that is when you met Jake.
Tessa: Yeah! Jake was so sweet. We would talk a lot on set. I gave him my number and we would text a lot.
Chance: I hate to ask...but is Jake your boyfriend?
Tessa: Jake? No! He is like my big brother!
Chance: Ohhhhh. Cool! Yes!
Tessa: Then one day, Jake called me. He asked me to come to the team 10 house. I met everyone, and 2 months later I was on Team 10! Jake, Nick, and Erika encouraged me to start my own vlog channel, so I did! Erika has been my best friend for 1 1/2 years!
Chance: Cool! Erika seems nice. And don't tell Erika, but Anthony likes her.
Tessa: Ohhhhh. Toner has a crush!
Chance: TONNNNNEERR!
Tessa: *laughs* anyway...ever since than I have lived in the Team 10 house. Your going to love it here!
Chance: I already do! Everyone here is so nice. And I already have an eye on a girl.
Tessa: You do?! Who?
Chance: Dinner is ready.
Tessa's POV
That's odd. Chance quickly changed the subject. I'll ask him again later.
Chance's POV
Ugghhhhh! Chance! Why did you say that?! She knows now!
Tessa: This is really good Chance!
Chance: Thanks. I'm really tired. I think I'm going to bed.
Tessa: Ok. Goodnight Chance.
Chance: Goodnight Tessa. *whispers* I love you.
Tessa's POV
I heard what Chance said at the end. I don't know if it was a friend like "I love you" or a real "I love you" I really hope it was the second one.
Tessa: Hey Chance.
Chance: Yeah? *spins around*
Tessa: I love you too.
Tessa's POV
Why did I say that? I do love him though. We stare at each other for about 5 minutes. It was silent, but if wasn't awkward. I was staring into his green eyes. I love his green eyes so much. He was the first one to say something.
Chance: *smiles* goodnight Tess.
Tessa: *smiles* goodnight Chance.
