Dave: Yep. I need to check on her too. So..

Chance: Oh. *lets go of Tessa*

Dave: Thanks. *looks in eyes* She might have a small concussion and her eye is bruised. I'll check up on her again when she is awake.

Chance: Thanks Mr. Brooks.

Dave: Call me Dave.

Chance: Ok.

Laurie: Dave...

Dave: Laurie...

Laurie: Thanks for protecting Tessa and Chance. I never knew how much of a jerk Dan could be.

Dave: She's my daughter. I wouldn't let anyone hurt her.

Laurie: Thanks again.

Dave: Of course.

Tessa: hmmm.

Chance: She's waking up.

Tessa: *wakes up* Is Chance ok!

Jake: *laughs* He's fine Tess.

Chance: I'm right here.

Tessa: *kisses* Oh thank god.

Chance: My lip is cut up, and my head hurts, but otherwise I'm fine.

Tessa: What about everyone else?

Jake: Messed up eye, but I'm good. need to protect my little sis.

Tessa: *smiles* Tony?

Tony: Broken Nose, but the doctor fixed it.

Tessa: Thank you Doctor.

Dave: I need to check up on you too.

Tessa: Ok.

Dave: Follow the light with your eyes. *shines light* Ok. You have a small concussion. So no dance for a week or two and check back with me. And your eye just put ice on, and maybe Tylenol to make the pain go away.

Tessa: Thanks! Wait...how do you know I do dance?

Chance: *smiles*

Tessa: *looks at nametag* Dave Brooks...

Dave: Hi Tess.

Tessa: Oh my god. Dad. Dad your here! *hugs*

Dave: I missed you. *hugs*

Tessa: I missed you too. *crying*

Dave: I read your texts everyday. Everyday.

Tessa: So you know about everyone?

Dave: Yep.

Tessa: Are you mad about the baby thing?

Laurie: *looks at Dave*

Dave: No.

Tessa: I get it- Wait your not?!

Dave: Why would I be mad when I'm going to be a grandpa?

Tessa: Your the best! *hugs* Have you met Chance?

Dave: Yeah I have. Treat her well Chance.

Chance: I already am.

Dave: *laughs*

Tessa: Hey...while we are at it, can you check on my friend Alissa?

Dave: Of course.

Tessa: Thanks Dad.
