I heard footsteps. Loud, heavy footsteps. Aparently they tripped or something because they swore really loudly. I saw the doorknob turn, and the intruders dropped one of the things they were carrying and it shattered, glass spread into my room and so did a thick, red liquid. He swore and the other guy told him to shut up. I barrel rolled out of bed, reached under it and grabbed two of the dozens of knives I always keep under there. Faster than they could say "Bloody hell?!" I was on my feet and had a knife at each of thier throuhts. This happened in a blinding second and out of the corner of my eye I saw that Lily's eyes were fluttering open. I looked at each of my surrendered intruders who dropped their... tray of all my favorite breakfast foods? To see they were Tyler and Vannessa followed by a trail of all my younger siblings, well except Lily who was as wide awake as her eyes that were staring in disbelief at the knife at her siblings throut, knives that happened to connect to my hand.
