Returning to my office, I catch catch a whiff of a nauseating smell I grew accustom to avoid. Sitting in my chair was Lily Valentine a blond haired beauty on the outside but a witch in the inside.

Forcing a smile to my face, I ask the witch "What brings you to my office Lily?" She only smiled and said "Your mother invited me to dinner and asked me to tell you."

Cursing under my breath a "wtf". I look at Lily and say "Lily I have the message so you can go now." She only played ignorance not getting thanking the hint to leave.

As long as I could remember my mother as sweet and as kind as she is... Always wanted me to get a mate. (Little did she know I just got one.) She put the idea in Lily's mind that she would be the next Luna of the pack.

She finally left when she got the idea I still had work to do, but before she left she tried to place a kiss on me. Fortunately for myself Lesley decided to walk in the room that moment panting.

Looking at him I asked "What's wrong" once Lesley took a breath he said "Wolves of the Striker Night pack are here claiming that we are housing one of their Claimed female wolves."

Exasperated and annoyed Leslie and I make way to seven wolves and the leader stepped forward Justin Night son of the current Alpha next head of the Striker Night pack.

Snarling Justin looked at me and said "you have one wolf I claimed." Looking him in the eye I ask "Who?" Just that moment Mila and Juliet came walking past and the look on Mila's face when she saw Justin was of and disbelief astonishment.

When Justin made a step toward her she growled. Mila came forward I stood in front of her, but I felt my mate's  anger.

Justin then walked right up to her to take her away. Not knowing what I was doing I pushed his had away from him growling and with clenched fists I spoke.

"Why are you in my territory Justin?" Looking him in the eyes he spoke "Mila your father is worried about you."

Mila cut him off growling "That Beta showed how much he cared for me when I left that excuse of a pack. That Beta doesn't have a place in my life and he isn't able to choose anything for me."

When she finished her piece Justin switched he was a gray wolf and snarled at her in challenge. Anger spread through me and at that very moment Mila and myself shifted to wolves.

She had black fur and her eyes turned a sapphire blue with a built that would make any wolf do a second look. After a year of waiting (more like 15 minutes ) someone draped a blanket over Justin and he was back human.

Justin left but said "I will be back."

Looking back to Mila I saw her relax and someone placed a sheet over her and she shifted back to human. Feeling a sheet Lesley placed on myself I shifted and when I was back to being human I looked around to see no sign of Mila.
