Well here we are. Me, Zoey, and the twins were sitting in first hour which is geometry and the only class we have together.

The teacher, Ms. Baker, was telling us what she expects from us for the school year.

Soon the classroom door open and everything went quiet.

Standing in the doorway was a boy with red hair.

He looks very familiar. I think his name is Mark. I saw him a lot last year but never spoke to him before. He always seems to be by himself. I wonder why...

He looked around the classroom. That's when we locked eyes. He smiled at me. I blushed and look away.

I could have sworn I heard a growl coming from Sam who was sitting behind me.

"And what's your excuse for being late on the first day Mr. Fischbach?"

By the time he sat down at his desk the teacher asked him the same question.

He was looking down, his hair in his face, but he slowly looked up at her.

"I had some business to take care of." he said in a low growl like voice, like he was warning her to back off.

She rolled her eyes and started to talk to the whole class again, ignoring Mark.

Now I'm in fourth hour, art class. The class consist of sophomores, juniors, and a couple of seniors. The teacher, Mr. Ackerman, was talking about a project that the class would have to start next week.

I was half listening because I was mostly drawing in my notebook.

"Class, we have a new student today. I know it's only the first day of school, but he has never been to our school before or-"

'blah blah blah'

Like I said, I wasn't paying attention like that.

But the next thing I knew someone said my name.

"Y/n!?!?"

I looked beside me.

'No...it can't be'

"Kevin!?!"

He smiled at me then took a seat next to me.

"Yeah! You didn't tell me that you was going to the school."

"Yeah I was here last year. I'm a sophomore now."

"Cool! Well I'm a junior. So...haha yeah. Here I am."

He gave me such an adorable smile.

'Wait...what?'

"Well welcome to Colgate High School!" I said as I held out my hand for him to shake it.

"It's great to be here!" he said shaking my hand
