At Ather – King Nyresto's POV
A guard informs me of Leonard's arrival from Nyesta. I expeditiously walks towards the meeting chamber and perceive Leonard already awaiting, "Any news?"
Leonard shakes his head in disappointment, "The owner of the tavern in the town of Donrey mentioned seeing a young beautiful girl last night. He said she was looking for a ride to the town of Nye. The last time he recollects seeing was, when she left the tavern with a young ranger. Assuming this was the princess, she would have already reached Nye. I fear if she has already entered the unknown lands......"
I cut him off in the mid, "Young ranger? Did you inquire more of him?"
Leonard replied, "Yes! The tavern owner mentioned that this was the first occasion he had met this young stranger, who called himself a ranger. The young man was heading to the town of Nye as well. This is why he guided the girl to meet this young man......but...are....are you inferring that....he...could have been the Prince?"
I reply, "Cannot rule it out! Zynar despises dressing up as a royalty. If this is him, I don't comprehend what he is considering or what he is endeavoring to achieve!"
Leonard proceeds after a murmur, "I have sent a caravan to advise the King of Nyesta about the circumstance and to help the soldiers look for the princess and the prince. They should reach in couple of hours well before the dusk. But, what if we are too late?"
After a minute, I answer, "Then, it is their destiny!"
At Gerual's House-Zurien's POV
"Zurien!", Her voice startles the old woman and we both swing to see the princess, ambulating towards us with shock spread all over her beautiful face.
"Princess!! What a lovely surprise! We meet again!", I tease as Ayveri confronts me while the old lady still stands debilitating me with a stick.
I had followed Ayvi as the curiosity took the best of me. My previous trainings solely on shadowing were helpful here, Ayvi did not speculate that she was being followed. I had to quickly conceal myself behind the stone house while she stood pounding on the doorway.
I tuned in to their entire discussion and understood that the old lady was going to avail the princess escape to the woods of Mythica. She is endeavoring to recover an enchanted blossom for her family, and the old woman is by all accounts proficient about Mythica. As the old lady begin retelling the verifiable association of Taxilard's royalty with Mythica, my arm accidently hit the bordering pot. I made a decent attempt to catch it afore it makes to the ground, however, I couldn't spare its destiny which was to break into incalculable pieces.
As I stand reviling, the good old lady was already infront of me with a stick in her grasp.
I am brought back to the present when Ayveri intervenes again, "What are you doing here? Did you follow me?"
I grin and lay sideways on the divider while answering, "Indeed! Needed to ensure you reached your home protected and sound"
The old lady asks, "Princess, Do you know him?"
Ayvi mumbles and motions her head in assention, "I would have never made it to Nye on time, if not for him." She turns to me while speaking, "Zurien! You shouldn't have done this. It is wrong.......but since you are now aware of my identity, I anticipate that you will not uncover anything to anybody unless I leave."
I stand up straight, "I promise no word would escape my mouth, unless!"
Before I could complete, Ayvi anxiously asks, "Unless? What is it? Do you wish for anything?"
