"Widow.. I don't know about this guy. Or any of this. Maybe we should just, go home" I say to her as I hand her the dog after we enter a tent.
"Easton. We can't go home. Even if we wanted to, we can't. We don't know how. But," she pauses and peeks out of the tent I guess at Jaden.
"His grandfather, the author. I bet he knows. We have find him. Not only for Jaden. But for us, For our family, for our way home. He's our only way out of here" she looks up at me with serious eyes. Then she glances down at the little white, winged dog in her arms.
"Let's just chill out. I'm tired, and hungry." I respond with something completely unrelated because I didn't how to respond.
"Hmm" she was still staring at the little dog when she hummed in a thinking manner.
"What is it?" I ask her while plopping down in my sleeping bag. She soon sat down as well.
    "Hope"
    "Huh?"
    "Hope." She repeats herself.
"She is a symbol of hope. In a way." She adds.
"I'm confused." I lean back onto my arms.
"Of course you are."she laughs. I love it when she laughs, even when I don't see why. Her eyes squint because her large, happy smile takes up almost her whole face. When she's happy, I'm happy.
"I mean a name, her name" she stated while examining the little dog.
"We'll name her hope." She says to me. I yawn and lay down. "I think I'm going to take a nap" I yell her. "Ok. I'm going to stay up and try and decode another page or two of this book" she tells me. "Ok. Wake me if you need anything" I tell her before falling asleep.

Widow's POV

As Easton slept I worked on decoding a few more pages of the book. While Hope slept beside me. It's been about 30 minutes since Easton fell asleep, and it's about 4:30 pm. I was working on decoding, and on the second page one of the first things it says was beware of the giants. Giants? Wow... maybe I should ask Jaden about them. I'll definitely tell Easton when he gets up I thought to myself. Then I heard a loud thud, followed by another. Easton fluttered his eyes open and started to slowly sit up. Hope awoke and perked her ears up, she then started to growl. I hold her mouth close and shush Easton. "What's That?" He whispers to me. "Giants" I whisper back. His eyes widened. "Don't move" I whisper again. The foot sounded like is was right next to us, and who knows it could have been, we had our tent closed. Once it seemed like it passed we were able to speak again. "Giants??" He asked me. "Yeah Look here." I show him the book with the black light. "Oh my god." He responded. He got up and left the tent. "Easton wait" I go after him. Hope was at my feet the whole time. He barged right on into Jaden's little hut. "What was that??" He demands. Then they both exit the hut and we stand in a circle. "Giants... they roam this area. They won't hurt you unless you bother them. So don't bother them" he tells us. "Good to know.." I say. "God I'm starting to regret this" Easton says before walking off to sit on a log by the fire pit. I let him be for a bit and I find a stick to throw for Hope.
