Megumi Chan: IQ Abnormality

"Megumi get ready..  Kelangan ka na doon" sabi ng isang staff sa akin.. 

"On it,Tiya!" sabi ko at nagbihis na.. 

She's Tinrisse Yagaru, my bestfriend and isa sa mga staff sa pageant ngayong gabi..  Yes, kasali ako sa isang pageant, (pinilit is the right term) which is ang Zae Allegre Pageant.. Zae Allegre Pageant is a pageant hosted by the Arts and Design Department.. A kind of a fund raising event..  Ang makukuha na budget from the ticket selling will be divided into half..  The first half will be given to the charity the group has chosen and the other half will be given to the winner of this pageant..

Napilit ako ni Tiya dahil kelangan ko ng money,  i don't really know where did I came from.  Basta nalang akong naggising sa isang bahay na hindi ko alam kung kanino..  I was just 5 years old that time..  Wala akong maalala kundi mga blurry memories..  I even dreamed about me being revived once..  And paggising ko..  Para talaga akong nabuhay galing sa pagkakamatay..  It's weird because the elders have said that dreams are premonition and some of them are memories from the past, i believe in that tho. 

"Megumi, it's your turn!" sigaw ni Tiya from the outside..  Nagmadali naman akong lumabas at rumampa ng may malaking ngiti sa labi.. 

Pose here, pose there. Jusko kung hindi lang ako naghahanap ng pera hindi ako sasali sa ganito.  Makatutulong din sa akin ang mapapanalunan ko dito if ever.. Even 1st runner up lang or 2nd mabubuhay na ako nun for a year.

Nasa prestigious school kaya ako.  Mriel University nag aaral bilanh scholar. Full scholar. Lahat ng andito mayayaman.. Welp! Except for me.  I know it's very cliche but that's how my life starts and maybe ends in the same sufferings.. 

Tapos na kami rumampa lahat,  tapos na din ang talent portion, and now it's up to the Q and A...

Pang apat ako sa mga candidates, and they were questioned already

"let's give a round of applause to Ms. Megumi Mayainne Chan!" naglakad ako hanggang sa gitna..  And smiled.. Lahat naman sila naghiyawan..

"okay Ms. Megumi, for your question, ehem, is it better to follow your heart or trust your mind?" tanong nito at nginitian ako. 

I captured every people's eyes.  Yan ang sabi sa akin ni Tiya.
