Chapter 2

I walk downstairs in a sky blue and white sundress (notice how I'm going for the innocent look?) and see my baby sister sitting on the couch with her little princess bag in her lap waiting for me.

A huge smile makes it's way to my face as she turns to look at me her own smile matching mine she runs up to me wrapping her little arms around my legs giggling "hey sweet pea sorry I'm late I slept in" I apologize.

She looks up at me with her big doe eyes "it's ok sisi but can we go before mommy comes?" my heart cracks at this, to see such fear in a 6 year old eyes due to the woman that is meant to love her unconditionally.

"Hey don't be scared let's go" we make it outside and start walking towards her school hand in hand.

"Sisi?" she asks looking up and me confused. I nod. "what happened to all your cool earrings and this on and why are you dressed so......girly?"pointing to her lips where my lip piercing she always loved was while scrunching her cute little face in distaste.

I let out a short chuckle "well sweetie it's a new school so I'm going to act like someone different."After saying that she suddenly starts squealing, making me look at her worried "are you ok Jamie ?"

"So your like playing dress up?!" she practically screams her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "Yep and here I'm a good girl that doesn't know how to fight ok?" I ask knowing she would probably tell her friends who have brothers and sisters at this school that I'm a fighter.

"Ok I won't tell anyone" she claps and does that zip your lips and throw away the key action. After a few minutes of walking we come to a rather large primary school I crouch down to her level and hold her by the shoulder.

"Alright sweetie it's time for you to go" I smile and nod my head toward the gate. She looks inside the gates at the little kids playing with eachother then back at me with glassy eyes "hey why you crying?"of

"What if they don't like me and bully me like the last school?" her bottom lip trembling making me want to never let go of her.

"Hey baby it's ok it's different here the kids will love you your pretty," I tap her nose making her giggle "smart and fun to play with why wouldn't anyone want to be your friend?"

"Because mommy said" she whispered letting tears fall from the pooling in her eyes. I feel my anger build up towards that woman. "Jamie don't ever, ever listen to that woman she doesn't know anything ok now you're going to go inside that school and show them who you are ill see you when i pick you up" I smile.

She hugs me tight around the neck "Thank you sisi I love you soooo much"I see her little legs running towards the gate as I get up and start walking towards the high school two blocks down, getting ready for my last personal hell in earth.
