A cold desert with harsh conditions
A sandy winter, a rough rendition
The dusty memory of the subject in relation
Hitting hard in a sudden realizationThere was a screen of two trapped tourists
Reading about the legend in the lake
What was there to say? A mystery hobbyist
Chasing the real and ignoring the fakeWhat about we become a time traveler's pig
And piece them together into something big?
Let us be formed into a team of headhunters
And stomp through the destructive bantersWhat about we become a clone of ourselves
Break the rules and square us all?
Multiply the number just by itself
So be it, if gravity may fallThat crashing river there seems to be rising
A cloud of Armageddon feeding the fighting
Whoever should we trust, just not myself
The waterfall or the town itself?Hello, hello, I'm sending a signal
Hello, do you copy? Beep beep beep
Kneeling before the large arsenal
Not making a stir, not even a peepGreetings, I am here to give a happy birthday
The cake of 8/31, in pieces it lays
Apologetic shouts of "Hip hip hooray"
The sunrise was then led astrayIf we look in through the tiny peephole
Hope is like rhinestones falling from the sky
Only to be buried under the sandy desert snow
Lost in what looks like a field of lies.Destroyed by the demonological measurements of earth
Now we're sitting around a crackling outdoor hearth
Flag of independence raised ever so high,
No wonder we managed to defeat the sky. Why, it's only a brief matter of time
We either lose, or win this fight
The war of patience enclosed in red
To stop this violent idiomatic genocideIt's time to tear off the lion's skin
Traverse through the fire and the flames
Like we've committed a very grave sin
Where is the clearing that had kept me sane?A grim reminder of what befalled gravity
Never to be talked about, nor utter its name
Resorting to words of vague clarity
And so ordered, it was never the same.

RandomWelcome to my folder. This is where I dump random story and poem ideas that come into my head. Some might have enough power to spark a full book, however, some doesn't seem just right to me as a full-length story, eventually leaving them as oneshots...
