A man and a woman were getting married. The womans name was Mary and the mans name was John. They planned a big wedding and when the day finally came Mary had a beautiful white dress. They got married and they had a big party at Marys house with a lot of food and games. Almost 200 guests attended.
They were having a blast and then John suggested everyone play hide and seek. Everyone agreed and John was the seeker. Mary had a perfect.place to hide which was upstairs in the attic in her grandfathers chest. She went upstairs and climbed in but the door accidentally fell on her head and it cracked her head open. She went falling in to the chest and the chest locked. John had already found all the guests and was about to give up. "Mary, I give up" he yelled. There was no reply. He was starting to get worried because Mary would always come out of her hiding spot and tease John.
Everyone looked for her but no one could find her. They didn't even think of checking the attic. John was devastated. He went on to marry another woman named Joan.
Two years later a maid was looking for something in the attic and opened the chest. She screamed and there lay the decayed body of Mary still wearing her beautiful white wedding dress.
