One evening a father and a mother were going out to dinner and called a babysitter to take care of their two children. When the babysitter arrived the parent went out. The evening was spent playing games and the babysitter helping the kids with their homework. When bedtime finally came the babysitter put the children to sleep in their room. While she was passing down the hallway she caught a glance of a clown statue in the parents room. She was creeped out by it but let it go.
A few minutes later she got bored and called the parents to ask if she can watch tv in their room since they don't have cable in the livings room. The parents agreed to it but the babysitter had one last question. "May I cover up the clown statue you have in your closet because it is creeping me out?" asked the babysitter. There was a long pause on the other line but then the father replied "Get the kids and get out of the house as quickly as possible, we don't own a clown statue. I will call the police." The babysitter grabbed the kids and bolted out. The parents and police were there within minutes. It turns out the clown was a serial killer and if the babysitter didn't call in the next five minutes it would have killed all of them.
