Chapter 5- Love?

Amber was so happy with the events that had took placed that day. She just wanted to smile and never stop!
   When Amber arrived back at the castle she skipped to the common room to tell Lily the news. She said the password "ammortentia" and walked into the common room to find Lily and Frank chatting.
I'll talk to her later, she looks busy. Thought Amber.
Amber went to her dorm and finished off the potions essay which Rose had helped her with earlier in the day. She tried to keep her writing neat however it went a bit wrong as she wasn't concentrated, she was thinking about Lysander.

THE NEXT DAY
Amber woke up in a really great mood, she had a good nights sleep and it was the weekend. She felt like nothing could go wrong, especially after what happened yesterday!
   Amber looked over to Lily's bed and saw that she was already up, she ran in to the common room and caught up with her before she went out.
   "Hey Lily. I haven't spoken to you since yesterday lunch. Are you ok?"
Amber asked.
"Yeah, just tired. So how did your date go?" Lily replied.
"It went really well. He kissed me!" Amber whispered, hoping no one heard.
"Yay!" Lily exclaimed, trying to be quiet,"I have been talking to Frank!"
"Yes I saw, I told you he liked you!" Amber teased.
"Oh shut up!" Lily laughed.

IN THE EVENING
Amber was sitting in the gryffindor common room when someone put their  hands over her eyes. She was confused at first but then realised who she thought and kinda wished it was.
She opened her bright green eyes to meet the person of her dreams, Lysander.
"Hey cutie!" Lysander greeted her.
"Hi!" Amber replied.
"Want to go for a walk around the black lake?" Lysander asked her. Amber replied with sure and scurried off to put on her brand new coat that she received from her grandma last Christmas. It was navy blue with black button up the side and it had a hood with a fluffy outline.
As Amber and Lysander were waking they were both feeling so elated. It was what they had dreamed of for so long. Only now was it fully coming true and it nearly felt unreal, surprising.
"I had a really great time yesterday Lysander." Amber told him, "thank you!"
"I did too, especially the ending." Lysander replied.
"Really?" Amber asked him, shocked.
Lysander nodded and leaned in and kissed Amber, she kissed back. This time it was more meaningful and they could both feel a strong spark between them.
"Amber...will you be my girlfriend?"Lysander asked, his eyes full of hope.
"Of course!" Amber replied.
Lysander and Amber held hands and walked around the rest of the black lake. They realised it was getting late so they headed back to castle. Amber and Lysander felt a feeling they had never felt before. It was building up inside them but it couldn't escape. It was the best feeling in the world, with the best person in the world. Was it love?
