Makayla's pov

I guess my life is pretty good now. Stella's aunt adopted me so now I live with like the nicest and sweetest people on earth. I haven't seen my mom in months I guess the had to put her in a asylum jail cell or something because she clearly didn't escape in a while. Danielle finally got smart enough to skip a few grades so she could be graduating because she got held back a few times. I mean it's obvious because she was 17 in 9th grade. Now I was the 12th grader.

Tyler never found a girlfriend yet but he's the closest person to me. He's always there for me when I need help. He also announced that he's still bisexual but he likes girls the most. Don't ask. But he said he says he will still wear makeup. I'm actually really happy for him that he's confident and doesn't care what anyone says.

Matthew is dating Stella. She isn't just a girl who makes out with someone the leaves. I honestly think Matthew made a good choice. I stop being depressed somehow. I think now that I'm just in a new environment I feel like I shouldn't be depressed these are like the happiest people on earth. What's there to be depressed about. What's the point of having anxiety.

I still remember the day I got shot by my own mother. I survived and all my best friends were there to support me. I love them all so much but not as much as I love Max. Did I mention Max and I are dating. After that little incident Max actually said he loved me. Of course I didn't believe it at first. I mean I've been crushing on him for the longest. I think I was.

3 years ago

"Makayla" Stella's aunt called me. "Yes" I replied. "Max is here" she said. I quickly ran to downstairs and peck Max on the lips. "Be back before 7 I want to take you and Stella somewhere" she said. I walked out the door and got into Max's car. "Where are we going" I asked. "It's a surprise" he said. "Nooooo I hate surprises" I said.

"But you love me and I'm full of surprises" he said. "I hate that your always right" I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. We pulled into a parking lot of a baseball park. "Don't ask" he said as he got out the car. I got out following him to the field. "Stand here" he said as we walked towards the home plate. "Right here" I asked. "Yes" he said.

"Do you know how much I love you" he asked. "What did you do know" I asked while laughing. "Nothing" he said. "Meeting you was like hitting a home run" he said as he grabbed my hands. Then he said those four words that made me want to scream and break the United States in half. "Will you marry me" he asked as he got down on one knee and displayed the most beautiful ring on earth.

Tears brimmed my eyes and I gave him a big huge hug before even saying yes. "Woah" he said as we fell on the sand. "Yes" I screamed. I held my hand out and by now I was shaking like crazy. He slid the beautiful diamond ring on my finger.

Present

"Do you know where the other pink flat shoe slip thing is" Max asked as he held up one of Bailey's ballet slippers. "You know you could've just called it a ballet slipper" I said as I dug in her toy box to find it. "I'm a man I don't know these things" he said. "Is Morgan ready for soccer practice" I asked as I threw the slipper at him. "Um I kinda sorta lost him in the bathtub" he said as he put the ballet slipper on Bailey.

"Wait what the fu-" I ended up not finishing my sentence because I have a toddler in here. I ran to the bathroom and seen bubbles everywhere on the floor. The bathtub was filled up with a mountain of bubbles. "Morgan" I called. I heard him giggle. "Come to mommy and don't get the bubbles everywhere" I said as I tried to remain calm. "Rahhh" I heard him shout as he jumped through the bubbles.

"Nooo I specifically told you not to do that" I said as I picked him up and brought him to the bath tub in our room. "No more bubbles" I said. "How do I make that doughnut thing again" Max said and he tried making a bun in Bailey's hair but she kept swatting his hands away. "Just give her a ponytail" I said. I had to give Morgan another bath then I dressed him in a white tank top black soccer shorts and socks and his neon green soccer cleats. Then I brought him downstairs with me. "I'm leaving Max" said. "Her leotard is backwards" I said as I looked at the little butterfly on the back of her.

"You know what today's Opposite Day" he said as he walked out the door. I started laughing as I put the spaghetti noodles in boil water. "Momwee can I do- I go with dadwee" Morgan asked. "No you can't go with your dad" I said. "Whyyy" he whined. "Because you have soccer practice in 45 minuets and he's taking bailey to dance" I said and I grabbed 2 mini water bottles from the pantry and put it in his Spider man cup and put it in the fridge.

I wasn't planning on eating any spaghetti right now because I really wasn't hungry so I just made some for Morgan. I put the noodles on his cars plate then I used the ladle to dip the sauce out then I put 2 meat balls on top. I got his cars cup and put Hawaiian Punch in it then I took off his shirt and sat him in a chair that was at the kitchen island.

"Look momwee boobies" he said as he pointed to the meatballs. "Morgan those aren't boobies" I said as I leaned across the kitchen island trying my hardest not to laugh. "But you got boobies" he said. "Okay Morgan let's talk about school" I said trying to change the subject. I watched him as he stuffed his face just like his father. "Why are you try to chawange the sunset mommy" he asked before taking a sip of his drink. I think he means subject.

"Um because your 3 and you shouldn't be talking about boobs" I said as I stole one of his meatballs. "Hey you stole my boobie" he said. "It's not a boobie it's a meatball" I said as I poured myself a glass a of wine.

"Are you sure she's sleep" I whispered as I slowly closed the door. "Positive" he said. "We're finally free" I said as we walked back to our room. "Until tomorrow morning so we better make it worth it" Max said. "Question how did Morgan learn about boobs we had a full on conversation about it which was weird" I said as I sat down on the bed.
