It took me a minute to process anything that was happening. People were staring at me, wondering if I was ok, and right there in front of me, holding my head, was Michael. Michael Jones, the one who I seriously crush over. But, right now, I could barely think straight and was in no condition to fangirl on him.
"Hey, lady, are you alright? You fell pretty hard."
Everything was still spinning and I swear I saw stars. My only response was a grumble and I attempted to pick myself up. My legs felt wobbly, and I was dizzy, I stood straight for not even second until I started to topple over again, luckily Michael was there and he caught me in his arms. I couldn't describe how it felt because my head hurt so much and I was distracted by the fact everything was turning.
"I guess not, here, I'll help you get up and sit down somewhere."
Michael's words were going right past me while he flung my arm across his shoulder, put his arm around me, and started to walk out the store, practically dragging me to the closest bench. He sat me down and I started to see straight again. My head was throbbing, and so were parts of my body. I groaned and leaned back.
"Hey, do you need a band-aid or something? Should I call a hospital?" Michael kept on asking.
I finally was regaining myself and I felt almost better. I was at least well enough to speak words.
"Um, I don't know. I have bruises in some places and I think I got a concusion. But other than that I'm fine. I've gotten a concusion before. It's not a huge deal."
"Oh, well, do you need me to drive you home? I'll be glad to." Asked Michael with concern in his voice.
"Yeah I think so, considering I walked here."
"Then I should definitely drive you home."
The ride to my house wasn't far, but it was a little awkward. We didn't talk much. But he finally broke the ice.
"Hey, um, what's your name?"
"(Y/n), and I already know your name. You're Michael from Rooster Teeth. I'm a big fan."
"Haha, glad to hear it. You watch my rage quits?"
"All the time! There fricking hilarious!"
Michael just did a cute laugh and continued driving.
"By the way, do I take a right here to get your place?" Asked Michael.
I giggled and nodded.
He pulled up right to where my mailbox was. He put the car in park and asked,
"Do you need help walking there?"
"No I'm fine, thank you for everything though Michael."
I got sad thinking I'll never see him again. Apparently Michael was mind reading and said,
"Hey, tomorrow, do you wanna meet for lunch or something? Here, I'll give you my number."
Michael searched the car for some paper and something to write with, he found a sharpie and a napkin.he wrote his number on the napkin and handed it to me.
"Talk to me sometime." Was all Michael said and he drove off.
I stood there watching his car leave my sight. I was in shock. I actually got the number of my crush! I smiled and held the napkin close to me. I blushed remembering I get to go to lunch with him tomorrow. I smiled and realized I should call him later asking when and where it was. I walked to my door, unlocked it, and sat down on the couch. I still held the napkin in my hand just thinking. I sighed. I was really nervous on meeting Michael tomorrow. I mean, I am awkward and what not, but, I didn't want him to dislike me for any of my flaws. I really hope he doesn't notice. I closed my eyes and just started to daydream.
