Gretel's P.O.V.
It's been about two weeks since Blade died. It's been really hard without her. There's a hole in my heart, and I know for sure there's one in Hansel's, too. An empty hole. One that Blade left when she died.

Hansel has been drinking a lot. He took it really hard. Him and Blade were inseparable. Blade and I were really close, but not as close as Hansel and her.

It was past midnight and I couldn't sleep. I kept having flashbacks of Blade when she was a little girl. I tried to stop thinking about them but my mind wouldn't let me.  It was painful. My heart ached and my eyes burned with unshed tears. There was a lump in my throat and my breathing quickened.
Before I knew it, I was a sobbing mess on my bed. I lost my sister and I lost my brother. He wasn't dead. He was just elsewhere, emotionally.

"B-Blade. I know you're in heaven. Can you see mom up there? Can you see dad? Are they proud of us?" I sobbed as I got off my bed and walked to my opened window. I stared out of it, to the starry night sky. I knew Blade was up there. She had to be. She wasn't a bad person, anyways. She always put others before her.

As I stared out the window, I saw a shooting star. Wow. Cheesy.
I sighed. "Look, I don't know if you grant wishes, but if you do, I wish for Blade to come back. Please and thank you," I said as I closed the window and walked back to my bed and laid down.

I stared at the ceiling 'till my eyes got heavy. I was exhausted after mourning all day. Finally I could sleep and forget about everything around me. Even Blade's death. Maybe, if I was lucky enough, I could dream of Blade never dying.

============================

"Oh, my child. I heard your wish," said an all too familiar voice. It was a voice that I thought I would never hear.
"M-mom?" I stuttered out as I looked at the angelic-like presence in front of me.
"Yes, Gretel. It's me," she said. I ran up to her and hugged her. "It's alright. I'm here," she whispered and stroked my hair.
"Mom.." My voice cracked as I was about to tell her the terrible news of Blade's death.
"Blade is not dead," she said as if she had heard my thoughts.
"What?" I asked.
"Sweetheart, Blade is not dead," she repeated.

(This part of the story might be written differently because I'm using a different device than what I usually use. I use my phone, usually. This part is going to be written with my computer.)

"What do you mean she's not dead? I saw her die. She was killed by Dean Winchester!" I said as my eyes got watery.

She chuckled and said, "Honey, Blade isn't a normal human. In fact, I don't think she's human at all."

"What do you mean?" I tilted my head and looked at her, confused.

"Don't worry. All your questions will be answered, soon," she said as she started to fade away.

"No! Wait, mom!" I yelled as I tried to reach for her but she was already gone.

============================

I woke up panting. What was that dream about? And why did she say that Blade wasn't a normal human or maybe not even a human at all?

I looked around and saw that it was morning already. Sunlight was shining in through the curtains, illuminating the room.

I looked at Hansel and saw that he was still asleep. I need to wake him up. I need to tell him about the weird dream that I had.

"Hansel?" I said, shaking him. "Hansel, wake up."

"What? What?" he asked as he started waking up. I wanted to laugh at his messy hair but this was a serious moment.

"I had a weird dream about mom," I said as I sat on the edge of his bed.

"That's nice. Now let me sleep," he said and turned the other way.

"It was about Mom and Blade," I said. I saw him tense up at the mention of them.

"It probably didn't even mean anything. Please don't talk about them," he said as he looked really tense. He couldn't even look at me as I mentioned them.

"Wait, I know we're both hurt because of this but I really have to explain to you about how I had the weirdest dream ever," I said as I ran my hands through his hair in an affectionate way.

"Fine. But do it quick. This is really hard for me," he said as he stayed in his position. He wasn't as tense as before.

"Well, Mom appeared and she said she heard my wish," I said.

 "Wish?" he asked.

"Yeah. Last night, I made a wish. I'm not telling you what it is, tho," I said as I raised my eyebrow. "But anyways, she appeared and then she told me that she heard my wish and that Blade is not really dead. She also said that Blade wasn't a normal human, or not even a human at all. Is that supposed to mean something?" I asked as I looked at him. He slowly turned his body to me and looked at me with watery eyes.

"Do you think it means something? Do you think she can come back?" he asked, hopeful for Blade to come back.

"It might mean something. Blade had dreams like this, too. She was having dreams and nightmares of Dean since she was a little kid. Then, she finally met him. If that's the case, this dream might be telling us something," I said as I looked around the room.

"Or, it could be that you just had a weird dream like everyone else does. You get those every once in a while," he said, losing all hope of Blade coming back.

I sighed. "At least think positively about this. I feel like it's a sign. Now come on. We have a witch to kill. This one is gonna be hard to kill," I said, changing the subject. He nodded and got up, to get ready. I started getting ready, too.

'I know that dream meant something. I just have to go to the cemetery. I'm going to prove to Hansel that the dream was a sign. I'm going to need someone's help, tho. And I know who I'm going to use. The one who got us all into this mess. The one and only, Dean Winchester,' I thought as I grabbed my crossbow and shot an arrow at a 'WANTED' poster of a witch.
