"W-what's happened?" I was shocked.
"I don't know love. One day they all just got sick. I thought it might have been the food but I ate it too. And the water too."
I was in utter shock as he led me around the house. In every room there was at least two people deathly pale. Their skin had taken on a grayish gleam. The cheeks were hollow. You could tell they were beautiful at one point, but right now they were fighting for their lives.
"I- I don't know why you are showing me this. I don't know how to help." I was on the verge of tears.
"Yes you can! I know you can. This is what your purpose is in life. This is why you were created."
"What?"
"Please love. We need your help. I know what you do when you go and help those sick kids. You're not normal. And you know it. You have the ability to help heal people. And that's what you do. You go to them, visit with their parents, and when you go to say goodbye to the children, you simply touch their skin. You can see the affect right away."
"How do you know all of this?" I asked in disbaleif.
"When I found out about you, I had to see for myself. Please, I beg of you, and I have never begged a person before, help me. These people mean everything to me." He had tears forming in his eyes.
"I don't- I've never tried this many people before. Only five or six a day. And these people, by the looks of it won't last another day. I don't know if I can cure them all!"
"Try."
He guided my hand to the young goddess looking girl by us.
I felt my fingers touch her clammy, cold arm. My first reaction was to jerk back, but I managed to keep them there. I concentrated really hard and after a minute I heard the girl take in a sharp inhale of breath.
This was normal when my magic had worked.
"Amazing!" The god of a guy said.
We went around to every room and I tried my best to help. Instantly after every person I touched, they began to get color back.
I knew these people weren't normal like the guy. They were all to gorgeous to be. No one is ever made that pretty. My first instinctual thought, were they were Gods.
As the last person was healed, I fell to the floor in a heap. My body was exhausted. I has never tried to help that many people before and now I was getting the blow back.
I could feel myself losing consciousness but before everything went black I heard his voice.
"You did great love." He placed his lips on my forehead and everything faded into nothingness.
