I've been on the phone with Fuckiplier today, and she caved and gave me more details. I won't get into anything too personal, but let's just say that she is more than likely not going to be able to attend classes this school year. The school is working on finding a way to accommodate her needs, but it is rather likely that they won't be able to do it this time around like they have been. If she runs into the same problem next year if she re-enrolls (and she thinks she will) she will either have to take on a great deal of student debt, take a long time to graduate by going to school part time, or she will have to entirely change her plans and seek out another career path, one that requires an associate's degree or less, which means she would be putting a childhood dream in the trash can and even thinking about that is enough to make her totally break. She will be home Sunday at the latest. She does plan to give an update to you at some point when she arrives home because she is dedicated to her followers. Her official reason for being hospitalized is a gunshot wound (self-inflicted) to the upper thigh. She came pretty close to death and is still not feeling well inside. I am considering starting a gofundme for her since that's something she would do for me or others. 2 years ago, instead of starting school on time she gave 5 thousand dollars to the make a wish foundation and an additional thousand to a local hospital. She claimed starting school a year later was worth seeing sick people feel better, even if it was just for a moment.That was basically all the money she'd saved for her first semester of tuition before aid would kick in. That's just the kind of person she is and now she is very openly admitting that she wants to die and will "just take the gun and never worry about failing again" when she comes home. I am deeply worried about her and how she is being made to feel by her own spouse. He's being insensitive about the whole thing. It is his fault that she is cut off from aid this year. He blames her for it though, etc. Supposedly whatever happens to her is no big deal to him. This keeps looking more and more grim and I'm super worried as a friend. She just does not understand that whether she gets her degree or not she has a very bright future because she is bright. She is no average woman, she is a warrior and very gifted in many respects. I personally think she could become bigger than Markiplier on YouTube. She could go Hollywood if she wanted to. I may be biased because I am her friend, but before I really knew her I could tell she was going to do something great with her life. She's beautiful, too. I am traveling to see her tonight and will pass along your kind words.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am still in disbelief that she actually put a bullethole in her leg.
