Jimin and I sat on a bench that night.

Talking about nothing and everything all at the same time. Stealing kisses here and there.

I didn't think anyone would be at our park that late at night.

I shouldn't have been so at ease. But with Jimin I couldn't help feeling so safe.

A drunk man walked up to us. Shouting profanities and slurs.

I knew what he was uspet about. We weren't being discreet about our love.

He was still distanced from us, so I told a worried Jimin to calm down.

He did, because I would protect him, no matter what.

The man was restless. I thought he was a nuisance, but he was so much worse.

He made it up to our bench. He reeked of alcohol and loneliness.

He looked at me and scowled.

He looked at Jimin and grinned.

This man was cutting into my last nerve.

As I was about to suggest we leave the man pulled out a knife and laughed as he drove the blade towards Jimin.

I wouldn't let him hurt my Jimin.

I jumped in front of him and took the stab that would've hit jimin in the cheek, to the stomach.

The man didn't stop, he didn't stop until Jimins hair was no longer pink, but a dark red.

When the man was done with me he fled.

Park Jimin cried, cried more than he ever had.

Park Jimin screamed, screamed harder than he ever had.

Park Jimin loved, loved more than he ever had, and now his love was gone.

Jeon Jeongguk was his soul mate.

Jeon Jeongguk was his lover.

Jeong Jeongguk was his everything.

Jeon Jeongguk was dying in his arms.

Jimin tried calling for help, but help didn't come.

He stood by Jeongguk as he said his final words.

"I love you"
