First Day of Middle School

Hayden's POV

Ugh today is the first day of middle school. Today also marks one year since I've met Luke. He moved to Tennessee from California. During the past year Luke and I have become really close. We are only able to hang out during school because our parents don't know each other yet. Luke has 3 brothers. Parker is the youngest, and then Luke, and Peyton, and his oldest brother Brennan. I've only met Parker once and Luke wasn't even there, but I look forward to meeting his older brothers. For part of this past year I had a crush on Luke, but he and I decided that if we got serious it could ruin the friendship that we have. Anyways I need to get ready for school. I'm wearing white jeans with black low top converse and a spirt shirt from my school. I got out of my bed and walked into the bathroom to change. Finally I added some last minute touches and I was done. Then I grabbed my backpack and walked downstairs. I ate some waffles and headed to my bus stop since my parents are getting ready. I just kinda stood at the bus stop and I saw Luke's mom driving their car to my neighbors house to pick up Luke's friend, Henry. Then I noticed Luke pointing me out to his mom. I acted like I didn't notice and then I saw the bus coming. I got on and noticed that one of my friends was running down the road to try to catch the bus. My friend Sydney got on and we sat together. Before I knew it we were at school. When we first get to school we are supposed to go to the gym and talk with our friends. When Sydney and I went in there we went our own ways. I saw Luke so I walked over to him. "Hey Luke, I missed you so much this summer." I said. "Hey Hayden, I missed you so much." He said, then pulled me into a hug. Then his brother Peyton walked over. I have never seen him this close in person before. He's so cute! His eyes just sparkle. His lips looked so amazing, I just want to put my lips against them. His hair is so curly and there's this one curl that I just want to touch. I got pulled out my daydream when Luke said, "Peyton meet Hayden, my best friend." He smiled which made me smile and said, "Hey Hayden it's nice to meet you!" He shook my hand and I said, "It's nice to meet you too." I said. Then he whispered something in Luke's ear, smiled at me, and then walked off. I wonder what he said. I managed to make it through the first day. When I got home I showered, ate, and got ready for bed.

Peyton's POV

Oh my gosh. I've heard Luke talk about Hayden before like when he needed my advice when they liked each other before they decided to just be friends. I can't believe that I hadn't met her before today. She's so pretty and I almost got lost in her eyes earlier so I had to look away. I just want to know what it would feel like with her lips against mine. I just need to know. After my brother introduced us to each other I whispered in his ear, "I can tell that I'm crushing, please help me know if she likes me or not. I need to know." He gave a tiny nod and I smiled at Hayden and walked off to my class.
