Back in New York with Destanie and Luke. They've gotten more up close and personal over the past few weeks. Destanie begins to wonder if he's going to be different. Y/N & Keith are coming back in a few days and Y/N doesn't want to leave Bryshere behind.
Destanie POV
Luke texts me and tells me he's taking me out today but I wonder where? I decide on a simple black outfit. I compliment it with gold arm bands and accessories and a pair of black studded heels.

I get a text saying he's outside so I grab my purse and phone and walk out the door. I see his car in the driveway.

Luke and I have been seeing each other msince he got here in New York. These past few weeks have been amazing with him and I'm happier than ever.
"So where are we headed?" I ask as I buckle my seat belt. Luke pulls off and we stop at a red light.
"We are going to a restaurant in Syracuse. I think you'll love it." He says with a cute smirk.
"Hmm okay" I say.
We pull up to my favourite restaurant, Pastabilities. I haven't been here in years. I wonder how he knew?

"Luke!! Oh my gosh how did you know this was my favourite restaurant?" I say looking at him. This man I swear, I can really see myself in the future with him.
"Oh a little birdie told me" he says with a satisfied smirk.
"This is the most effort any man has ever put forth with me." I say feeling the tears well up in my eyes.
"Well I'm looking forward having a lot of firsts with you." He says looking me in my eyes.
"I really don't know what else to say, you really got me speechless right now." I said with a small laugh. "I was really worried you'd be like the other men and be pompous just because of your status."
"It's all consistency over here baby girl. I'll put all your fears to rest." Luke says as he lifts up my chin and kisses me.
"In that case I can't wait, now let's go inside I can't wait to order my favourite dish." I said with excitement.
After a few glasses of wine Luke and Destanie are talking a stroll down the strip walking hand in hand on the way to his car.
Destanie POV
I pick my head up off his shoulder and look at him.
"Okay so you're really serious about us right?" I ask Luke.
He stops walking and stares at me with a small smile.
"I've never been so sure of anything like this before but I can tell you right now that I'm not going anywhere and neither are you." He says pulling me closer to him.
"Lukeyoureallyhaveshownmewhat it's like to be loved and appreciated and I can't thank you enough for even just putting forth the effort for me and us."I say with tears welling up in my eyes.
"It'sus against the world baby." He says and kisses me."I love you Destanie always and forever."
"I love you too Luke" I say and grab his hand as we walk back to his car.
On their way back to Destanie's apartment she notices that she hasn't heard from Y/N in a while and decides to check on her.

Sorry this is so short. It's just a filler chapter but I do plan to get everything back on track.
Alright now that I've said that I want to say sorry about going MIA these past few months I've had a death in the family and it just took a lot out of me. Then after that I started getting stalked everywhere I went for a month but it's died down some. Hopefully the creep doesn't follow me anymore.
So I apologise to everyone for that. Any who I'm back better than ever and I'm ready to write again!!!!! 😊❤️
