My Closest Friend Etienne,
I apologize deeply for my emotions towards you. If it was something I could control, I would. I still do astonish myself with my selfish and brash actions. If you do not wish to speak with me again, that is fine. I understand it entirely. Who would want to talk to someone as sinful as I? I apologize a million times and more. You are always welcome to tell me anything, as you provided that same solace for me. I cannot wish for your forgiveness anymore.
Yours,
Constant Matthews
