Bound Minds

Prologue

The sun was shining, I looked around waiting for Kana or Ryou (my childhood best friends) to appear. They had told me to meet them in the meadow, an unusual request from them but they had said they had a surprise for my birthday. They had left a birthday card at my house with directions to this meadow.

I heard a rustle inone of the bushes near by.

"Kana, is that you?" I shouted.

No answer.

"Ryou, how about you?"

No answer.

I started to feel uneasy, fear quickly stirring up in me. I turned to leave and all I could see was a large wolf staring into my eyes. I screamed. I tried to run but the wolf bit me, pain seared in my leg and I collapsed.

 I could feel myself losing consciousness and before I did, I saw 2 more large wolves running, jumping, and attacking the wolf that had attacked me. The world spun around me and I passed out.
