Hi! My name is Izuku Midoryia and this is my first time transferring schools. Starting today I'm attending UA high school, one of the best schools in Japan. "Bye, Mom!" I yell as I leave out the door. Most people would be worried about transferring, but for some reason, I'm not like that at all. My old school had lots of nice people to have fun with but they never really fell into the 'friends' category.
That's why I'm kinda excited to meet new people in a new place. Although, my clumsiness, nervousness, and unawareness are gonna be a huge hurdle to jump if I intend to make any friends.
Well, I'm here. This is it. I'm right in front of the gates to UA. I still had my uniform on from my old school since I hadn't received my new one in the mail yet. I guess that was why everyone was staring at me while I made my way past the shoe lockers and up the stairs to the teacher's lounge.
A man with a scarf around his neck and long black hair greeted me as I walked in. "Are you Izuku Midoriya?" his voice was low and kinda sounded like a broken robot. "Y Y -yes," I said. "I'll be your home room teacher for the year nice to meet you" he didn't seem like he was interested in meeting me since he continued to look down at his papers not paying me any mind.
"By the way my name is Aizawa-sensei...class will be starting soon so I'll take you to the classroom..." he got up from his chair sluggishly and started down the hall. I followed behind trying to match his pace. He stopped at a huge brown door and proceeded to push it open. This was my classroom?! It seemed so elite?!
"Everyone take your seats we have a new student..." I heard the class whispering to each other. He gave me a hand gesture and I walked in the classroom. The class's whispers grew louder. "My name is Izuku Midoriya," I said, "It's nice to meet all of you". There were much more students than there were in my old class.
"You can take the seat behind Bakugou" I walked toward the seat I was assigned. In front, there was a blonde haired boy who gave me a glare then turned his face to look out the window. I sat in the seat behind him. What was his problem? Did I do something to make him mad?
Aizawa-sensei taught a lesson and soon afterward came lunch. "Hey, whats your name again? Izuku right? I'm Uraraka!" I looked up to see a brown haired girl with brown eyes and a wide smile on her face. "Oh and this is Iida, let's all be friends and eat lunch together!" There was another person next to her. A boy with short black hair, glasses, and pointy eye brows.
"Uraraka! Don't pressure him!" he said. His voice was loud and demanding. "It's alright," I said smiling. "I don't have any friends yet or anyone to eat lunch with either". "See, I told you it would be fine!" the girl said happily. The boy sighed "As long as he's okay with it I guess it's fine".
The three of us ate lunch together at the cafeteria which was huge and could probably fit 2x the people at my old school. Afterwards, we had more lessons and in the middle of one of them, I asked if I could go to the bathroom. I'm probably an idiot for not realizing this sooner, but I had no clue where the bathroom was.
I didn't know anything about this school! I wondered down the different empty hallways hoping to find a sign or even hear the flush of a toilet so I could know where the bathroom was. Eventually, I even lost track of my way back to the classroom! I kept walking hoping to see something that would give me a clue. I wasn't looking where I was going and I ended up tripping on something that was on the ground.
I braced myself for impact but to my surprise, I didn't hit the floor. Instead, I grabbed on to something...no...someone?! I lifted my head up that was buried into someone's chest. It was the blonde boy from earlier! His red eyes glared at me in annoyance. "S -sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going..." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
