I woke up as I heard my mother yell from down stairs. I opened my eyes and blinked before I came to my senses. I jerked my head up and groaned when I realised I slept in. I had forgotten to set my alarm last night since I fell asleep while doing homework. I jumped out of my seat and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. Since I overslept and only had half an hour, I had a quick shower, not washing my hair. Stepping out, I wrapped myself in a towel before walking to my bedroom. I picked out my black playsuit that I bought yesterday and put it on. I slipped into a denim jacket and started to walk downstairs.

I acknowledged my mother and brother, as I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. "Why did you get up so early yesterday if you were going to be tired and oversleep today?" My mother questioned as I picked out a fast and easy breakfast, yogurt. I shrugged my shoulders, not wanting to inform her about how I woke up yesterday. Taking out a spoon I sat myself on the bench instead of walking around and sitting in a chair. My mum gave me a strict look meaning she doesn't want me sitting on her bench, before she said, "Can you please go to the store after school. We need bread and milk." I nodded, and replied, "Sure. Just make sure you give me money, cause I'm not paying for the groceries like last week." She groaned before pulling her purse out of her black handbag. I grabbed the $20 my mother held in her hand and made my way upstairs. I packed my bag and walked out my bedroom door. I galloped downstairs in a hope to meet my brother, and I did. I walked out the front door and got into the car, not knowing what to expect when I arrived at school.

As I walked into school I immediately felt people's eyes on me. I gripped the straps of my bag tighter and shuffled to my locker. I kept my head down, in the hope of trying to become invisible. I guess my fall in with the 'mysterious' guy was a big thing. I finally got to my locker, thankfully there were no couples there making out.

Trying to get my books as fast as I could, I accidentally dropped my pencil case. As I came up from picking up the pencil case, I looked across the hallway and saw the same guy from yesterday, staring at me. He was leaning against the lockers, completely oblivious to all the girls surrounding him ogling him. He was wearing dark grey jeans and a blue long sleeve top that gripped his muscles. I quickly turned back to my locker so he wouldn't notice me checking him out. I stood for a second trying to catch my breath. Why was I so nervous and so attracted to him? I've only talked to him once. This can't be normal. I got my books as fast as I could so I could get out of the hallway and away from him. Ever since he knocked me down yesterday, it felt like he had following me. I walked to class and thankfully Jessica had humanities with me, so I could ask her about my stalker.

"I don't even know his name," I told Jessica as I sat down in the seat next to her.
"Huh?" she replied, completely oblivious to what I was talking about. I sighed and turned to her, "The guy who bumped into me yesterday, I don't even know his name and now he's following me everywhere." Jessica stared at me for a second, before replying. "Well I know one thing, his name is Nicholas Loupe."

Then an unfamiliar man walked into the classroom. He nodded to Jessica before turning to me and staring at me for a little too long. He then turned to the board and wrote 'Mr Ives'. He turned back to the class and announced, "Hello everyone, Unfortunately, Mrs Wilson has quit so now I am your new Humanities teacher, Mr Ives." I looked around the classroom and found girls staring at Mr Ives like he was a piece of chocolate cake. Sure he was good looking for being in his late twenties, but really?? He is way too old for us. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Jess starting our recent conversation again. "How come you didn't tell me this yesterday??" She just shrugged her shoulders before replying, "Sorry, I didn't think of it. But why do you think he is following you?"

"Every time I see him, he is always staring at me and it's really creepy," Jessica raised her eyebrows then turned to the board to start doing her work. Getting the feeling she didn't want to talk about Nicholas anymore I asked her another question. "Hey Jess, why did Mr Ives nod to you before, do you two know each other?" She just shrugged her shoulders then answered, "I've met him once or twice." Why was she acting so weird lately?? I returned to my book, not before I shot the teacher another look. He was very interested in his paperwork. The rest of the class I didn't ask Jessica another question. I would just ask her at lunch and then Sophie could help me push the truth out of her.

Jessica and her boyfriend Ethan didn't show at lunchtime, so it was just Sophie, Lucy, Jack and I. "I wonder where they are," Lucy said concerned. I did another once over of the canteen trying to find them. Instead, I met the eyes of the one and only, Nicholas Loupe. Now that confirms it. He's stalking me. His hands were resting against the table, his sandwich completely ignored. I ripped my eyes from his stare to look over at Lucy. "I had a class with Jess earlier today and she was acting a little weird." Lucy and Sophie's faces were laced with concern while Jack sat there with a smug look on his face. "They're probably just spending some quality time with each other," He announced with a suggesting tone. I rolled my eyes at the accusation. "Can you please keep your guy thoughts to yourself Jack," I replied.

For the remaining lunchtime, I ate in silence, my thoughts keeping me from engaging in the conversation. Every now and then I looked over to where Nicholas sat, sometimes Catching his eyes. I had so many questions, and all of them had something to do with him. When the bell went I made my way to class, not before I grabbed my books from my locker.

The rest of the school day was uneventful, unless you call dissecting a frog, an event. I made my way to the school bus stop after my last class. I read 'To Kill a Mockingbird' which I had to read for my English class. Halfway through a sentence I noticed footsteps coming towards me, so I looked up from my book, only to find Jayden Lýkos. He walked up and sat on the other side of the bench. I looked back down to my book after realising he must be catching the bus. Not long after that the bus pulled up next to the curb. I pulled out my myki and pressed it to the computer after stepping onto the bus. I walked up to the back and sat in one of the back seats. I returned to my book after I was comfortable in my bus seat. I noticed from the corner of my eye that Jayden had come to the back of the bus as well, and was now sitting right at the back. I got of the 5th stop. As I tapped off with my myki I noticed Jayden getting off as well. I quickly stepped of the bus and started half jogging, half walking to the store. I walked through the automatic doors into Woolworths and made my way to the dairy Isle. I opened the fridge door and took out the 1.5 litre bottle of light milk. I walked around the store and picked out a few little treats for myself. I placed a packet of Twix in my basket and a bag of Honey Soy Chicken chips. On my way to the cash register I picked up a loaf of bread. When I was on my way back to the bus stop I saw a black SUV parked in the parking lot. I didn't make anything of it, until I saw Jayden step out and walk towards me. Jayden was staring at me with a determined face. I finally came to my senses and began to run. The milk splashed everywhere as I dropped my groceries. It didn't matter though, because in a matter of seconds after starting to run, strong arms wrapped around my waist and picked me up. "Stop struggling rouge, it will only make it worse," He said as he threw me into the boot of his SUV. Those were the last words I heard before everything went dark.

I opened my eyes as Jayden Unlocked the boot. I had a raging headache, probably because I hit my head so hard. He grabbed my hands and put them in zip ties. Behind him stood a blonde guy, I couldn't make out his face because the sun was in my eyes. They pulled me out of the car, I didn't struggle because I knew I didn't have a chance against both guys. Once I was standing I looked up and my eyes found a massive castle. It was the castle that I saw every time I was in the car on my way to the city. Why would Jayden take me here? Does he live here?? We started walking to the large front wooden door. The blonde I then recognised as Matthew, he was in my Science class. He was the guy staring at me yesterday. I walked into a large hallway with Jayden gripping my arm as we walked. I looked at the beautiful castle as we made our way to who knows where. There were magnificent high ceilings, sculpted with gold vines and flowers. The walls were covered with paintings of wolves. The one that intrigued me the most was a painting of a big brown wolf protectively standing over a smaller wolf. It was beautiful. Before I could see the rest of the paintings I was dragged into a large ballroom. In there were large columns on either side of the room. The ceiling curved upwards and there was a large chandelier with crystals covering it. My eyes raked over the Intricate gold designs on the side of the walls, following the same pattern of wolves. My eyes finally landed on white stairs in front of me leading up to 2 thrones, one larger than the other. "Matthew, keep an eye on the rouge while I get the Alpha," Jayden said as he walked out of the room. There was that word again, rouge. What does that mean?? How could my life get so messed up in two days? Last week I was worrying about school and homework. Now I'm worrying if my kidnappers are going to kill me. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening and footsteps entering the room. I searched for the source of the footsteps, and my eyes found the one person I least expected to walk into the room. Nicholas Loupe. Once he saw me he let out another growl and said both a familiar and unfamiliar word. "Mate."

So that was the 2nd chapter!!! I will try and publish the 3rd soon. You can probably tell there is a difference in length compared to chapter 1. The chapter sizes will vary so please don't expect an amount. As you can see, this is my first book, which means I don't have a lot of readers. Can you please share this book with all your friends who like werewolves, romance, or just like to read. Thanks for reading and I'll write to you next time!
