'I can't see him get hurt out there on his own'

Amaguq walked out of the tent, ignore my calling and went to the nearby glaciers.

Thalia's POV
If he really is a father; he wouldn't place a cold shoulder on me, nor walk off out on his own in the woods. 'I can't see him get hurt out there on his own,' I sighed. I grabbed a wooden stick, a sharp stone and wrapped it around the end, 'Anyone want to help me find father, come with me.' Chena joined me, Sitka untied his mouth, Denahi and Kenai tagged along. We have our weapons, I pulled up my hood over and under my long hair.

5 minutes later...

I followed the boot prints up to the mountains glaciers. 'Amaguq! Amaguq!' We all called. 'Nowhere to be seen,' Chena was bewildered. 'I have an idea: Kenai, go with Sitka. Denahi, go with mom. I'll go further on the tracks. Keep your eyes open, for the predator can be anywhere,' I carried on moving. I climbed up the cliff and sees some animal tracks. 'Hopeless,' I growled softly. An animal growled further up, it was a a mountain lion along with a teenager mammoth. I pulled up my mouth cover under my collar, threw a stone and it landed by a tree. I threw another stone again and it hit the lion's head.

Amaguq's POV
Sitka is good at sorting his brothers, along with Thalia. Why would he resist on such a thing for our absence? I hear a girl scream like she fell off a cliff. I ran up quickly for the cliff.

3,5 minutes later

I came to the cliff and looked down. 'Thalia?' I guessed bewildered. 'Father, hurry! We all have to escape!' Thalia panicked. 'All? What?' I questioned. 'The lion and the mammoth, look behind you!' Thalia warned. I turned around and it was the predators I guessed they would be. Eyes widen in fear as they roared! Suddenly, stone was thrown at the mouth. It was Sitka.

Normal POV
'Hey, you two, over here! Come this way, I'm warning you!' Sitka called up just in time. The animals followed Sitka, while Thalia climbed up the cliff with Amaguq pulling her up and they ran up to Sitka. Chena, Denahi and Kenai also ran up quickly for Sitka. Denahi threw his spear to Amaguq. The mammoth swung its trunk at Sitka, causing him to fall back. I sprinted up behind him, only I fell for a glacier hole. My spear held me by both ends on the ice, 'Help!' Sitka, Denahi and Kenai ran up to her, while their parents handle the predators. Sitka grabbed her wrist, Denahi held the other and Kenai grabbed under her arms to pull me up.

The handling of the predators were going steady, Amaguq hit the lion and and Chena attacked the mammoth on the side. Thalia was almost up then slipped back, but the brothers still got her. Chena looked back until she got knocked down on the hard ice. The snarling mountain lion then stalked on the four. Amaguq cannot let anything bad happen to his four teenagers. So, he sat up, took aim on his spear to the wild cat and with a loud yell, the spear flew nearby the mammoth's stomach(it did cause a cut) and on the lion's shoulder, and it ran away like a scared kitten.

Thalia's POV
Thank goodness the fight is over. I climbed out of the hole and into the brothers' arms. The mammoth is in front of us. 'I'd rather get out of here if I were you, don't you have a cut on your stomach?' I mimicked my stomach to show the cut on the mammoth. It walked away. The brothers were surprised by my animal talking! I turned to see Amaguq and Chena have fallen, ambushed. The four of us helped each other to move our parents on their backs to breathe better. I looked down the view on the edge and help was already coming. They must've heard us of the attack.

Normal POV
Sitka was in serious stress about his parents and how the ambush came to be, thinking how he had been about his father. Some men, women and Tanana came over, carried the two back to the village and we followed behind, worrying. 'Amaguq!' one man was in utter shock, like he knew Amaguq before. Thalia guessed if that man is his brother

10 minutes later...

The four of kids waited for Tanana and healing ladies for the results. Sitka is holding up his big stress, they stayed quiet and Thalia quietly held his hand for comfort. That same man who approached Amaguq came to us. 'May I ask who you are, sir?' Thalia asked. 'I am Colville, Amaguq's brother,' The man said. Thalia gasped softly, but Colville held her hand, 'I've heard of you at Sitka's ceremony.' 'I...I...' Thalia wanted to explain about the accident. 'Everything is going to be okay,' he calmed her down. '...if I were to go in there, would he be okay like you said?' She calmed down. Colville just stood next to her and placed his hand on her shoulder.
