Later on, Tanana and some ladies came out with the results. 'The wounds were very deep and they cannot be healed upright,' Tanana spoke. 'But you are the only healer the village has ever known, you have to keep trying!' Sitka held her arm tight, persuading. 'Sitka, easy,' Thalia called up. 'I'm sorry, there's nothing else we can do. As I was cleaning off the blood from wounds, I felt that their heart rates are running low as I speak,' Tanana explained. The four gasped with their eyes widened in shock. Thalia walked to her, 'It can't be true. Please let us see them!' Tanana responded by showing the entrance to the tent. Thalia went in; only to see Amaguq and Chena in their deathbeds, breathing deeply and suffering from their pain. 'Mom, Dad,' Denahi gasped as he and his brothers went inside.

Kenai sat near his mother on the left, Denahi sat between his parents with Sitka behind him and Thalia sat near Amaguq on the right. She placed her hands on his chest to feel his heart and looked back at Tanana. She felt a hand on her own hand, it was Amaguq, calling in a soft voice. 'Sitka,' he whispered. Thalia leaned closer one ear near his mouth, then called Sitka over. 'Father,' Sitka leaned closer to listen. 'Look after your brothers,' Amaguq whispered in his ear. Sitka broke into a sob, 'No, Father. I can't.' 'You must,' Amaguq insisted 'You three are all we have left and it's the only fitting for your totem. I've seen you how you sort them out, if they still fight each other, you bump their heads to together and the three of you and Thalia must cooperate with each other.' Sitka sobbed harder, 'I...I can't do it without you.' 'You are everything like me and I know you will take care of them just fine,' Amaguq brought his oldest son closer to him. Thalia was now strong feelings of empathy towards Sitka and his father and that made her walk away to give privacy outside the tent.

Thalia's POV
No. This cannot happen to them, I mean Sitka is feeling stressed out, feeling that he should carry the heavy responsibility of raising the three of us all on his own. The three brothers have been with their parents since their order of birth, so I must leave them with their parents. I leaned back against a tree, watching the early sunset, closed my eyes and dreamed of my best memories of the family as my own after my own parents.

Normal/Back in the tent...
'Are you going to be okay, mom?' Kenai asked Chena. 'Don't worry about us, you just need to be good to your brothers, okay,' Chena comfortably. 'Dad, what really happened to you?' Denahi asked. 'You know how Sitka watches over you three?' Amaguq explained, 'I tried to encourage to him for following his totem, he has to find out the meaning of it on his own.' Amaguq suddenly looked around, 'Where's Thalia?' Tanana went out to find her.

Thalia's POV/Thalia is still outside...
I felt someone shaking me awake, it was Tanana. 'Amaguq was wondering where you were,' she rubbed my arm. 'I can't go in there. I must leave them alone to their parents,' I held her hand. 'Please,' she insisted. I walked in the tent again to see the three brothers being quiet and sitting with their parents. Denahi crawled out of the middle for me to sit in, I sat on my knees in that spot and I placed one hand each on Amaguq and Chena's chests. Suddenly, Uncle Colville, his wife and our cousins Takashi and Mia came inside. They came to see us with Amaguq and Chena. I felt Amaguq's hand on mine, 'Stay with them.' 'Amaguq?' I whispered and moved my one ear near his mouth. 'Stay with them!' Amaguq spoke again. 'Amaguq, no. I.... I can't understand what are you saying. I'm sorry,' I tensed myself with stress. 'Thalia, what is wrong with you?' Chena looked at me with a worried face. 'You...You are terrible pain,' I responded and moved my head down. Takashi came over with wet rags in his hand, he gave one to me and placed his on Amaguq's forehead to cool down his blood pressure and I did the same to Chena. Amaguq felt cooled down after a minute, 'Thank you, Takashi.' 'You're welcome,' Takashi gave a fine smile. 'Your mom and dad can take care of your cousins and Thalia from now on,
but Sitka must take more responsibility for following his,' he told his nephew. 'Sure, we'll help them,' Takashi agreed.

'Listen to me, three of you. Thalia is still with you along with Takashi, Mia, Uncle Colville and Aunt Chitnak. You must work together as good brothers. From now on, you must continue your journeys without us. You are brave young individuals and whatever life choice you make, we are always be you and you have made us very proud,' Amaguq spoke to his sons, 'I now must talk with your sister.' 'No, father. We will not leave you,' Sitka spoke up again. 'Sitka, I don't know what is he going to tell me, but for the last time. Do what he says, please!' I persuade him to calm down. Sitka stared sadly at his parents and I for the last time and breathed harder to hold his sob, 'Goodbye.' He walked out the tent, holding his tears. 'We'll go after him, mom,' Kenai held his mother's hand one last time. Chena gave Kenai a big hug, 'May you grow big, strong and handsome like your brother, my son.' Denahi held Amaguq and Chena's hand, 'I'll never forget you.' Everyone else went out, Colville said, 'Farewell, my brother.' 'Go well with my sons,' Amaguq saluted back to his brother. All right now is Amaguq, Chena and I, alone together and about to tell me something I should know about my brothers.
