Chapter Nine
" What!?" he yells.
" I'm sorry," I say, cowering backwards.
" Don't even, Katniss!"
" It wasn't me!" I shout.
" I don't even care!" he screams.
He turns to the stairs and runs up. A few moments later he comes back down with his stuff.
" Where are you going!?" I ask, crying.
" Home." he growls.
" No! Peeta don't go!" I ask.
" It's over Katniss."
And then the door slams in my face and he's gone.
