It was late in the afternoon. And the sun drowned The Bark in a patch of sunlight. Stacy brought Wink, Basil, Everest, Noah, Tucker, and Addison and over to the training area behind The Bark to prep for the 2017 Puppy Bowl Today at 6:00 P.M.
"Bet I can do the course faster than you!" Shouted Basil to Everest. "Let's see then!" Everest shouted back. Tucker sighed and began to do the course, followed by Noah. Addison padded up to sit next to Wink. "Are you going to train?" She asked. Addison was one of Wink's closest friends. She was the smart dog of the pack. And Wink usually looked up to her for answers to a question. But she wasn't just brains. She was also kind, interactive, and pretty; she also was the owner of the Dog School. Wink shook his head. "I'll do it later. I want to see who gets through the course first. Basil, or Everest." Addison looked over to her school. "Well, I have to be over at the school soon. Charlie bit Madeline's hand... He needs to learn proper training"
"Well, see you later, I guess" Wink said.
Addison nodded and left. Wink heard paw steps running closer and turned to see Everest in front of Basil. They were both coming in hot. Suddenly there was a cracking sound and Basil sped past Everest in a few flying seconds and ripped past the finish line. "Ha!, told you I could beat you!" Shouted Basil.
Everest slowed and took a moment to catch his breath. "Whatever!".
Suddenly they heard the Dog Guard on a speaker. "It's time to start the Puppy Bowl!". Wink looked at his friends. "Lets Go!"
