Wink stood with shock and excitement. His team had won! Everest ran up to Basil and Addison. "Congrats!" He said. Wink padded up to Addison. "Great idea!"
"Thanks!" Addison said with delight.
Wink noticed parade music getting louder and watched the Dalmatians form a paw print around the wolfs.
All the dogs were getting ready to end the Puppy Bowl when Wink heard a sweet voice behind him.
"Great job out their, Wink!"
Wink turned to see Georgette, a lovely poodle with a pink collar. Wink let out a sigh of satisfaction. Ever since he and Stacy got back from the Rescue Expedition a few weeks ago he had had a crush on Georgette. He had never told anyone about his crush. But he might have to confess soon. "Thank you, Georgette!" Wink said to her.
Wink and The wolves were heading back to Wolf Castle. It was a little bit after dusk, and fireflies danced in moonlit sky. "I'll get you next time!" Everest said to Basil. "We'll see!" Basil said proudly.
As all the wolves had settled into their beds and fallen asleep, Wink decided to announce his crush to Basil.
"Basil?" Wink said softly.
"Yes?" Basil murmured.
"Can you keep a secret?".
"Of course"
"Well... I like Georgette. I mean, she's nice and beautiful."
Basil was silent for a moment. "But what about Addiso- I mean... that's nice Wink"
Wink wondered why Basil was so secretive. He was going to ask when Basil said. "Well... I'm going to bed..."
Wink nodded and padded over to his own bed. His other friend was Addison. He was going to tell his crush to her tomorrow.
