Klaine after the time jump

Oh baby

"It's a boy!" The midwife informed everyone in the room with an overly enthusiastic voice. Kurt began to tear up at the sight of their child. "He's perfect." He said as he held his baby for the first time. Blaine stood behind him watching over their newborn. "When can we get out of here?" Rachel asked exhausted and out of breath. "Yeah, I have to go to rehearsals for my new show." Jesse added. "You can leave whenever you want, but Rachel needs to stay for at least another 2 days, and she will need a few stitches." The midwife explained.

The baby weighs 7.4 pounds and has beautiful hazel eyes, born on the 19th of August. They decided to name him Joey Finn Anderson-Hummel. They had both agreed instantly on his middle name being Finn if it was a boy and kurt's mum's name if it were a girl. Although the baby's full name is a bit of a mouthful to say, people will just call him Joey.

Kurt dressed Joey in a cream sleep suit with a red printed bow tie by a designer brand that no one can pronounce. He also has a matching hat and scratch mittens, which were made by the same designer. Blaine put Joey in his little car seat while Kurt packed up all his things getting ready to leave as all the tests on Joey had been done. "We will be back to see you tomorrow." Blaine said to Rachel and Jessie just as he was about to walk out the door.

Blaine and Kurt stand outside the hospital by the road and hail a cab. Blaine puts Joey in the car and takes ages to work out how to strap the seat in, they gets in next to him and Kurt gets in the front and the driver drives off.

The yellow car arrived at the Anderson-Hummel house and they went inside. Joey was sleeping so Kurt went upstairs and put him in his crib while Blaine cooked so them both some pasta. Kurt comes down the stairs "He's sleeping." He said while helping cook dinner. "I can't believe we are actually parents." Blaine said in between yawns. "Yeah, it's crazy. Do you wanna go sleep for a while. I'll wake you up when dinners ready."
Kurt asked. "Alright, but wake me up if Joey needs anything. Love you." Blaine says then passionately kisses his husband. "I love you too." Kurt responds being completely truthful.
