So, regardless of this chapter, this has only the POV of Kai, no one else. It's because he's the other main guy, and we should give him the limelight, just for this chapter. In the epilogue, it's going to be the AKK POVs, so it is going to be longer. So here is Chapter 8, enjoy! ^^

KAI

"Uh," I groaned in frustration. I turned my alarm clock off and stretched my arms. Gosh, I think my z's weren't enough, like not at all. I rubbed my eyes for better vision, and opened the curtains from my window and saw the blue and beautiful sky. I smiled, trying to give myself a nice and good feeling again, a feeling of warmth, comfort, and happiness.

It was really bad for me yesterday, and I want to forget about it already. I noticed a picture of my very first girlfriend, smiling. That was the reason why I fell in love with her, her personality. When we were together, you could consider us being inseparable. We had a strong bond and I remember people saying, "You two match perfectly well!" It made us both smile, knowing that even random people from Southford think we were destined for each other.

Time passed by, and I noticed changes in her personality. She wasn't the girl I fell in love with anymore, and eventually, it was the reason for the end of our relationship. It made me tear up a little to be honest, knowing that she's happy with another boy. And yes, they got married already. It hurts, right? But I've moved on from her.

"You don't have any connections with me anymore. Why do I still have your picture here?" I asked, while chuckling a little. "You go here, the same place where you threw my heart and my efforts for you," I threw the picture in the bin and smirked. "serves you right."

I turned my back and went back to my bussiness, which is going back to the U.S. tommorow. It's better to leave than to ruin their relation-ship with each other. "Alright," I rubbed my hands against each other and stretched. "here I come San Francisco!"

I decided to call Tiffany, my team-mate in soccer. She treats me as a little brother, so I see her as my sister figure. She was the one who comforted me during my tears, heart-breaks, laughs, smiles, and everything. "Hello?" She asked. "Hey, Noona Tiffany," I responded while smiling.

"Omo, it's my bro! I missed you a lot!" I could feel the excitement in her voice. I've missed her very much already, even though it has just been two months. "Good news, Noona! I'll be back in a couple days! I will continue my studies there in America,"

"That's good! You know, Kai, the team has been missing you a lot since you left," She replied on the other line, while chuckling. "Are the players okay, Noona?" I was once the Captain of the South Ford University Soccer Team, but now it's my Chinese friend, Luhan.

"Of course they are! They're all fine. Practice might be a little tough, but we need to do this for South Ford's name. As Coach Bryant said, hardwork is the key to success," I smiled to myself. I remember all the memories we had back there in Southern University. Football practices, slipping in mud, math homeworks, ferocious teachers - just everything. I missed all the things.

"Well, I have to go now. Coach is calling us. Can't wait to see you back again, big bro!" I faintly heard her say, "Come on, people! Let's best Midtown's ass this year!" before we both hung up. I chuckled and placed my phone back on the bedside table. After I printed my ticket from the website, I took out my mallet and put my stuff on it, fast. I wanted to go back so badly.

"Where's the trip to? Jamaica? America?" Sehun asked whilst giggling. "Yup." He gasped, "You're going to Jamaica?" I facepalmed myself. "No, not Jamaica, oh my gosh," I responded, still busy on packing my stuff.
