1 Year After The Wizarding War

Draco POV
I was in my room and I notice an owl coming into my room I felt very pleased since I haven't been getting a lot of mail since I'm a teenage death eater well.. an EX death eater. My father has been sentence to a lifetime in Azkaban. And to be honest he bloody deserve it! After all my childhood being beaten cause I wasn't him and I wasn't a MAN as he call it I'm glad. I saw the letter was from hogwarts I was quite surprised I rip it up and saw the letter which said.

Dear Mr.Malfoy,
You have been accepted to finish your Hogwarts
Education. You have also been accepted for head boy.
If you wish to go to hogwarts please send the owl with
the letter. Thank you.
               Headmistress, Minerva Mcgonall 

I was very overwhelmed seeing that I Draco Malfoy could be head boy! I decided to tell my mother that I was accepted to finish my hogwarts education. I mean even if I had no friends probably it would be an okay year. I mean I could show and tell that I had changed! Right?

I finally found my mother is saw painting the house but it was a nice colour it felt like it was a different place. It felt nice it didn't look like a place where people got tortured it look like home.

"Hello Draco. What do you need?" My mother asked. "Well I was asked to go back to hogwarts and also to become... Head boy!!" My mother retorted " Oh My Draco! We have to respond back saying you'll go! Where's the owl?" "oh it's in my room but the train leaves the day after tomorrow so I have to get everything by tomorrow so that means a trip to Diagon Ally." I told her she quickly said "Yes of course dear I'm so excited for you!" "Oh and by the way I love the new look i mean the walls and the whole place! Also did I just see a ball place?" I said my mother respond saying" oh yes I decide to throw balls for special Days! Like chirstmas and all the other holidays! Also your Slytherins will always be Invited! Gosh this year is going to be a good one!" My mother smiles and walks away. Will this year be the first year for me to be a drama free one? Hopefully...
