"Emily, this is Mason" My father spoke.
"I thought it was Poseidon?" Jade questioned as a small smile of amusement formed.
"On land I'm known as Mason" he replied with no intent of being spoken to in amusement or sarcasm.
All that replayed in my thoughts was the comments my friends had made just because he controls the oceans, just because he's a little different from our race.
"Emily!"
"What could you possibly want?" I asked and looked to my right, Xavier and Elijah were standing at the doorway.
"You have knights to meet and then your people, you don't have time for a man right now" I smiled a little before turning to my father.
"Emily-"
"No-"
"You-"
I spoke over my father, cutting him off from each sentence he had tried to speak. "I have to go, duty calls, I'll be back soon" I quickly caught up to Elijah and Xavier.
"Thanks boys" I smiled and we walked out and down the hall together.
"As much as it was a distraction.. you should really meet the knights and find a queens guard, the kings right hand gave us the scrolls to hand to your choice whilst you were busy with your fish mate" Elijah spoke and stole a glance at me whilst trying not to laugh.
"I think finding a queens guard sounds more fun to do, we'll go into the kingdoms city first" We joined Jade, Xavier, Danny and Jake.
"What's the plan?" Jade asked and smiled a little.
"Finding a guard for our queen to be here" the group smiled and smirked in amusement before we walked together.

The sun was shining bright across the kingdom and its lands, trees gently swayed in the breeze whilst very few birds could be heard singing their songs. We had walked for an hour around the training halls and watched as men fell and fell over and over again, they were not strong enough to stand by my side once I take my crown, they were too over confident and sometimes.. confidence can get you killed.
"No." I began walking away.
"Again?" Xavier questioned as he followed with the rest of the group.
"They're way too confident and most aren't strong enough" I simply replied and glanced back.
"They are human, if I had chosen one and told them what we are further down the line, what do you think would have happened?" I continued.
"Fine, good point" Jade spoke and walked up beside me.
"I know somewhere we can go" I told my friends as we walked through the town.

Whilst being fifteen minutes away I stopped and glanced at a white tall building.
"Here?" Xavier asked.
"It's old" Elijah finished.
"Still the best training place within the city, everyone tries to join but not all are cut out to be taught" I smiled in amusement and walked through the door way to the main hall.
"Well.. aren't you a sight for sore eyes" I smiled hearing my old teacher George, I walked along the pathway and hugged him.
"George, how are you?"
He smiled and spoke "I'm doing well enough, I hear you claimed the throne?" He asked.
"Indeed I did" I glanced at him.
"With a little help of course" I finished and motioned to the others.
"This is Jade, Xavier, Elijah, Danny and Jake, we all grew up together"
"At least some are keeping you in check, so.. what can I do for you?" George replied with a slight laugh.
"I'm in need of a personal guard" I replied.
"A queens guard? But aren't you...?" He asked and I just nodded in reply.
"I know what I am George but I'm still to be queen, I came to you for this because I know I can trust you with my life" Taking a minute.. he took a breath and nodded.
"My best are training in the courtyard" he spoke and motioned us to follow but as he walked I glanced back to my friends.
"Call for us if you feel the slightest doubt or if you feel uncomfortable" Xavier spoke, with a nod I caught up to George and walked along the hallway, we walked through the back door and I stood with him.

I glazed over all the men as the trained but noticed one who kept glancing back at me whilst sword fighting.
"Focus Arthur" George spoke as he watched, I felt almost drawn to the man sword fighting.. I could feel it as an addiction I needed.
"Now, what's a pretty little thing like you doing in a place like this?" He asked whilst continuing.
"Careful love, wouldn't want that pretty little face of yours to get cut now would we?" The men around laughed at my reply.
"What can I say? I like pretty things" he replied before being knocked over with quite some force by his component.
"Told you" I said and smiled.
I watched as he stood and turned to face me but as he came closer, in one swift move I had removed his sword from his own grip to my own hand, I held the blade pointed at him.
"I'm not just a pretty girl" he smiled and nodded. "You win this round, but next time.. you won't" I handed him his sword back and as he took it he pulled me closer by having an arm around my waist.
"That's enough" George split us up.
"Time to get your ass handed to you again" I told Arthur and smiled in amusement before joining George again.
"I'll need to see what he's like during training and tough situations, if I like what I see, he'll come with me to my kingdom where he will become my guard" George nodded in agreement.
"Maybe you should stay?" Arthur spoke.
"You don't give up do you?" I asked.
"I know when I'm liked" he replied with a smirk playing on his lips.
"You're not my type love"

"I'm everyone type"
