Cycle - 'cycle' is seldom used as a stand-alone unless describing a single planetary day; usually it has a descriptor attached like 'solar, orbital, deca, stellar, mega,' etc. and generally cycles are attached to some unit of time measurement that is specific to some orbital body, planet, or galactic unit of measurement. (See examples below)Cycle - 1 planetary day.
Meta-Cycle -1 planetary week approximately (also called a Joor)
Mega-cycle - 1 planetary month approximately (also called an Orn)
Orbital(star)-cycle - 1 planetary year approximately (also called a Vorn)
Deca-cycle - 1 planetary decade approximately
Joor - week
Orn - month
Vorn - year. It should be noted that if someone says they are '20 vorns old' it is NOT the same as a human saying 'I am 20 years old' and does not carry the same age-specific implications. A 20-vorn old is not necessarily a young adult because Cybertronian life cycles are too long for that; it just means they've been active for 20 vorns.
