The adventures of spendy scoot and shoo part 5

Chapter 9

Katie almost fell out of her chair. Mr. Simmons, alive! She hoped with all her heart that he was alive.

"He is being held at the layer of the darkness." Said Sky. "We need to get into the layer of the darkness, or were all dead."

"Well we need to go now!" Said Shan.

"Not with your leg." Said Sky. "I gave you some potions that should speed up the healing, but you won't be able to fight for at least a few hours.

"Fine." Said Kiarra.

Well the three girls and Shan waited, they explored the cloud. 2 hours came and went when they were sitting in the Papple orchid, having there lunch. Sky found them there.

"I think Kiarra's leg is healed up enough to leave." Said Sky. "Are you ready?"

The three girls and Shan looked at each other. "Yes." Said Bookin. "But how will we get back?"

Sky laughed. "Creatures of light are able to teleport themselves and a few others. We will teleport there. But I must warn you that Mr. Simmons will be kept in the deepest darkest part of the layer of the darkness. He will be guarded by fierce traps."

"We are still up for it." Said Katie. "We need to save Mr. Simmons."

"But how is Mr. Simmons alive?" Asked Kiarra. "I mean, we all watched him die."

"The evil Lord Jowa was given the task of capturing Mr. Simmons, not killing him." Said Sky. "The dagger that Lord Jowa used to kill him, was a magic dagger. It is able to capture someone's soul."

"But how is that possible?" Asked Shan.

"When Jowa stabbed him," said Sky. "You never saw a body, did you? That's because he crumbled into dust. And the dust fell into the quicksand, and the quicksand led..."

"Straight to the darkness." Said Katie.

"Yes." Said Sky. "Come back with me to the cottage."

They all followed her back to the cottage, and when they got there, Sky opened a kitchen cupboard.

"This will make us invisible long enough for us to get inside. But once it wears off, we are on our own." Said Sky, producing 5 small silver bottles, passing one to everyone. Next, she gave them each a light blue bottle, about 2 inches tall and very skinny.

"This blue one will cure any cuts from there daggers in seconds, but it only works once, so use it wisely." Said Sky.

They all walked outside and stood at the edge of the cloud.

"Everyone grab my hand, and have your weapon at the ready in case we are ambushed." Said Sky.

Everyone grabbed her hand, and suddenly Bookin felt as if she was being squished into dust, but it was over as soon as it started.

Suddenly they were standing on top of lions rock.

"There must be a door somewhere. Ah, here it is." Sad Sky. She placed her hand on a portion of the rock that was smooth, and mumbled a few words, and instantly, a portion of the rock slid open to reveal a dark passageway.

Bookin looked back around to see the battle still waging. She could see body's of squids on the ground. She turned away before she could see any details.

"Everyone ready?" Said Sky. They all joined hands, and walked into the passageway.

So cold. Mr. Simmons was so cold.

For what felt like years he had been searching, searching for an exit.

Sometimes it felt like a maze, sometimes it felt like a room full of mist.

Part of him thought it was a dream, part of it knew it was real.

He tried and tried to find an exit, but to no avail.

Then he felt something, a spark of light in all this darkness.

He was getting closer to the exit. Someone was coming.

They were coming to save Mr. Simmons.
