Deanna has arranged a welcoming party for us. "It's been so long since we were able to just relax as not have to worry" he said relieved
"Well it will be a good chance for us to learn about this place and the people" "go get cleaned up and get ready I want you looking smart" rick said to carl . It was strange to hear it was almost like before all this.

//enid POV \\

I didn't wanna go to the party tonight  , but Ron was forcing me to go with him , he is so controlling I hate him , but he is my boyfriend, I can't just break up with him. It would tear him apart. Then I thought about who may be there , carl , all I could think about was his ocean blue eyes and his smile as he saw me for the first time.

I thought that I was starting to like him , but he would never like me back . I'm just the strange girl who doesn't talk to anyone and lives alone.

"CARL , CARL" Rick shouted " Get out the shower you have been in there for half an hour"
I turned off the taps and felt the warm water stop running , It had been so long since we had running water not to mention hot water.

As I threw on some navy blue jeans and buttoned up my black t-shirt. I started to wonder wether she would be there , with her long brunette hair , her green eyes that , shined in the light , her rose red lips . Enid... she was so beautiful she was the first girl his age since Sophia. I thought I may be starting to like her but , I found out she was with Ron , it just wouldn't work.
