"Bloody Hell!" I exclaimed as I brushed through the bushy, raven mop that is my hair, there were thousands of knots and entanglements

"Gwen, you've been spending much too much time round that Weasley fellow!" laughed Pansy looking up at me from where she sat on her bed.

I'm Guinevere Alberta Thornrose, everyone calls me Gwen. My hair is raven and my eyes are cocoa, I think so, I don't spend hours in front of the mirror so I wouldn't know really. I'm a fourth year at Hogwarts, share a Dorm with Pansy Parkinson and Millicent Bullstrode (both of them are my best friends), I'm in the Slytherin house (incase you didn't notice from the fact I share a Dorm with two Slytherins) and I must be the only girl in Slytherin who doesn't want to have Draco Malfoy's babies of something.

"Oh, ha ha, Pansy!" I said, sarcasm dripping from my voice.

She said that because I had been forced to do extra classes with Ron Weasley! Everyone knows we resent each other with a passion! I said to Dumbledore: 'Well then, I'm not taking extra lessons if they have to be with.... him!"
Therefore Dumbledore,  being the tell tale he is, sent a letter to my parents stating my feelings about it. Naturally, my parents said that if the professors said I needed to have extra lessons,  then I should have them regardless of who I have them with. I was mad, but did I have a choice?  No! Of course not! So, there we are, I have to have extra Defence Against the Drak Arts classes with Weasley every Tuesday,  Wednesday and Friday evening just because we didn't do well at our exams!

"It's true though," giggled Millicent from behind me. "I think she's even started to talk like him, Pansy!"

"Shut up!" I snapped tieing up my hair.

They laughed jokingly. I could never take offence at their jokes, they're my best mates really..... I think anyway.

"Next she'll dying her hair ginger and writing things in her diary like: 'Mrs Gwen Weasley'  or ''I love Weasley!" laughed Pansy, now they were starting to annoy me a little.

"Oh, just like the things you write about Draco in your diary?" I giggled taking out her diary, flicking through to find her little jottings I had seen her making.

"Ok, ok, I'll stop!" she said taking her diary and locking it away somewhere.

Millicent and I stood laughing uncontrollably.

I hope you enjoyed the first bit.  I will try to write a bit every day.

Later

I sat in Defence Against the Dark Arts class, twiddling my thumbs, listening to non of it. I saw Pansy starring longingly at Draco, I rolled my eyes. Next to me was, you mostly likely have guessed it, Ron Weasley. In front sat that Hermione girl who hardly puts her hand down, god she gets on my bloody nerves! There I go again, saying bloody! I'm beginning to think Ron Weasley may be rubbing off on me... I doubt it though. A few seats down from Hermione,  sat Neville Longbottom. I've actually talked to him before. He helps me in Herbology but nothing more. I was so very happy when the class ended,  that 'Moody' bloke creeps me out...

Thanks for reading the rest of her day. There will be more!

Today Pansy and I caught hold of Astoria Greengrass' diary. Oh, it was so funny! I remember, the bit that made me laugh the most was when she put: 'I long for Draco to kiss me, to look at me with his sparking, silver eyes. How I wish I could touch his soft-looking white, blonde hair.'
