My name is Jade Martinez. I am a jock, a nerd, and I was in the marching band at my old school. I say old because my father and the rest of my family just moved into a small town called Wishing Moon. I just got enrolled into one of the five high schools in this town. The school is called Wish Moon High school. I know right, original.
I play volleyball, soccer, I'm on the swim team, but my favorite sport is softball. I used to run track in middle school but I stopped because I just wasn't feeling it.
I play the piano, the drums, the trumpet, the bass, and the flute. I have all straight A's in all my classes. I was in the drama club back home. I say I am a pretty good actress. I am a good singer that's what everyone who has Heard me sing before, but I'm not looking for a singing career. I am looking for a career in softball. My dad supports my dream. I have to have a career to fall back on so i chose Business. I had to leave my bestfriend and my boyfriend back home.
Okay so I start school tomorrow just like the rest of my family. I have three younger brothers, the youngest is named Jordan. The other one is named Austin. They are both in elementry. Micheal he is in high school with me. I am the only girl in the family.
I met with the principal today to see about my schedule. All my core classes were Pre-AP. I had my core classes first. Drama for 4th period. Band for 5th period. Business for 6th period. Athletics for 7th period, I was okay with my schedule.
Softball tryouts start next week. So I thought I should go around the town to see if they had batting cages. I packed my bat, and my batting gloves and headed towards the car that I bought with the money I worked so hard for.
Oh and I'm 17 years of age.
