"I'm surprised your here Skylar" Madison said
"Yea well..." I said not in the mood to talk her
"Can I talk to you"
"About..."
"What happened this morning with you and mom"
I rolled my eyes "It doesn't concern you Madison"
"It does when you disrespect our mother" she said
"What are you taking about"
"You know what I'm taking about" I kept quiet and she took it as sign to continue the whole cafeteria turn their attention to us
"I heard the conversation you both had this morning" She said " And you should really watch how you speak to our mother Skylar! She's our mother no matter what!
"Your right Madison, she is mother no matter what but if you've lived in my shoes you would know it feels like to have a mother who compare you to her perfect daughter everyday of your life, meet people expectation, or how it feels like to be stabbed in the back by your own sister, but guess what Madison you don't know it feels and you will never know or understand the feeling I've felt my whole life since in mom and dad eyes your their perfect daughter you can't ever to anything bad." Each word was laced with venom and I didn't feel an ounce of guilt in my body, I was letting go of some of the feeling I've felt for awhile it wasn't everything but it was something
She looked shock first and was about to say something when Jason spoke
"You should leave" Jason said "You already attracted attention to yourself and Skylar"
She looked at me one last time before she left the cafeteria
Everyone eyes were on my sister but when she out of sight everyone turned their attention to me
I sat down and felt uncomfortable knowing everyone was still staring at me
"MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS" Jason voices boomed
Everyone jumped and turned their attention away from me
I looked up at Jason "Thanks"
He looked at me and smiled "Anything for you Skylar"
I couldn't help but shiver by the way he said my name

After lunch nobody asked about what happened in the cafeteria with me and Madison and I was thankfully for that
The last bell rings and I was not looking forward to going home
Knowing that Madison heard us there was no doubt in my mind that our dad heard us too
But why didn't he step in like he would usually do before my mom and I got to far?
"Skylar" Amy waved her hand in my face "Did you hear me?"
"Huh?"
"I said why don't we go to your house so you can help with this economics hw I'm not understanding. Jessica is coming too"
"I don't think it's the best idea Amy" I sighed "Once I get home I'll probably be dead"
"Your parents won't do anything if you have guests over would they?"
"No not really"I mumbled
"Alright then" Amy said
Amy grabbed me and dragged me out of the school
We met Jasmine at the school parking lot and got into her car
On the way home we turned on the radio and started to talk
I found out we have a lot of things in common
"Turn left" I told Jasmine as she did my house came in view
She parked in front of my house and we got out
As we make it to the front door I took out my keys and let out a breath I was holding
