Chapter:9

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT" my mother yells at my face.

She punches my face and I fall on the floor.

"None of this would have happened if it wasn't for you" She screams in my face as she yanks me by the hair and dragging me to the kitchen"

She grabs a knife from one of the drawers and looks at me with craze eyes

"Now...say goodbye," she said as she sliced my neck

I gasp and looked around my room

I looked at my clock.

2:20am.

I let out a shaky breath and stared at ceiling.

What the fuck?

I felt my eyes start to get heavy, I was about to sleep when...

"Skylar!!!!"

I jumped from my bed and looked around my room to see Jasmine at the doorway.

I groaned and fell back into my bed and threw the covers over my body.

"Oh come on, time to get up!" Amy said as she pulled the covers off my body.

"Ugh why?" I groaned as I looked at her. "It's Saturday!" I look at my clock, "9:00 in morning"

"Exactly." She said "We're going somewhere."

"Where?" I asked confused.

"You'll see..." she said as she clapped her hands. "Now hurry before the rest come."

She pulls me off my bed and pushes me into the bathroom.

I'm about to take out my clothes when Amy opens the door and throws me some clothes.

"Wear that." She winked. "I'm going to pack your stuff," she said as she slammed the door closed.

I laughed at her and got in the shower.

"How and when exactly did you convince my parents to let me go out somewhere with you?" I asked as I got out of the bathroom and leaned against the door.

"Well, your mother didn't agree at first but your dad agreed since he believed you should get away for bit," she said in one breath.

I nodded my head but then suddenly my mother words echoed in my head.

Don't you dare say her name Eric.

I shook my head

"Here," Amy said as she threw my duffle back at me.

"Where exactly are we going?"

She gave a sly smile. "That's a surprise," Amy said as she pushed me out of my room

"Now let's hurry, the rest are waiting for us."

"Have a safe trip Skylar!" my father said as we passed the dinning room.

"If you like your trip so much don't bother coming back," my 'mother' says as she comes out of the kitchen. "We wouldn't know the difference."

My father glares at her and I hear Amy growl quietly.

"What? I'm just joking love," she says. "Have a safe trip." She smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes.

I glare at her but don't say anything.

"Come on," Amy glares at my mother and pulls me out the door where the rest are waiting.

"Finally," Alexander exclaims. "You guys take too long."

I roll my eyes and turn around to see Jason getting out of his car.

"Good morning, beautiful."

I felt myself blush at his words.

"It would be a good morning if Amy didn't scare me awake," I said.

Amy rolls her eyes.

"If she wakes you up like this every morning I feel bad for you Xavier." I chuckle.

"It's everyday," Xavier says. "It's torture."

Amy gasps, she crosses her arms around her chest and turn away from us.

Xavier chuckles and wraps his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him.

"Don't be upset babe."

Amy scoffs but doesn't say anything.

Xavier kisses her and pulls away.

"Am I forgiven?" he asks

"I'll have to think about it."

"Are we going or not?" Jessica says impatiently.

"Don't get your panties in a twist sis" Jason says.

Jessica was about to lunge at him when Alexander grabs her.

"Calm down babe."

Jessica takes a deep breath. "I'll get you," she promised. "Now let's go," she said as she got in Alexanders car and Amy to Xavier's car.

"I guess I'm riding with you," I said as I looked at Jason.

He smiles as he got my bag, "I guess you are."

He puts my bag in the back of his car.

I climbed in the passenger seat and waited  for Jason.

He soon comes and starts the car.

Soon, we were on the road.

"Can I put on music?" I ask.

He glances at me then back to the road. "Sure."

Soon in the middle of the soon my eyes start to become heavy

"Tried?" he asked.

I nodded my head. "Didn't sleep well," I mumbled.

He nods his head, "You should sleep. It'll take awhile before we get there."

I nod my head and my eyes start to close.

Darkness soon consumes me.
