While finishing up the dishes I got a call, it was Alyssa my girlfriend, I quickly answered the call and she said "meet me at my house for 7:30 and where something nice" I asked "why" but she hung up. I dried my hands and ran to my mum's room and told her that I'll be leaving soon to go out with Alyssa, she said "ok I hope you two have fun but do you have anything to wear" my eyes widened as i said "no". I didn't know what I would do I needed new clothes.
Thinking to myself I turned to walk away but then I heard my mum say "wait", she pulled a box out of her wardrobe and handed it to me, I opened it and there was a beautiful black lace dress

I hugged my mum and said "thank you so much" she replied saying "anything for my sweetheart", heading into my room I went to take a shower, I had an hour left to meet Alyssa that was enough time for me to get ready. After my shower I decided to get dressed, when I was finished it was time for me to head over to Alyssa's, I told my mum bye and left. Alyssa's house was four blocks away from me so the walk wasn't long, as I walked up to her door step she called my phone when I answered she said "well am I going to see you" and I replied by saying "well if you opened your front door you would" when she opened her door before I could even say hey she kissed me, and when she pulled away our eyes met with each other and we started to smile. I realized we were wearing the same color when we got into the car, she looked gorgeous.
Alyssa was driving because she's the only one with a car out of both of us, I asked "is this a date" she said "yes" I said "ok and where are we going" she said "its a surprise". I was really excited because this would be our first date together, after 30 minutes of driving we finally got to our destination. The name of the restaurant that we were at was called Texas, I've never been here before but I'm sure we'll have fun.
