Alec stared at Magnus. Blue eyes met green eyes for just long enough to pass the message. They were in trouble, and there was no getting out of it. They could only rely on the other person, and even that wasnt enough this time. Sebastians battle had gone well for him, but so terribly for them. There they were, cornered by about five dozen demons and Shadowhunter enemies.

Four demons stepped forward and took ahold of the two. They were dragged away, and didnt try to fight back. There was no point. This was a battle not worth fighting. If they did, they could get the other killed. They would never wish that upon one another. Not in a million years. So, as they were loaded into a carraige, they sat in silence. Alec stared out the window, his mind somewheres else completely. On the other hand Magnus was going through dozens of ideas to escape, and discarding them all.

"Boys, boys.Settle down. No need to be on edge, here. We are all friends. I am simply trying to get your families attention and show them that I am not playing around anymore. What better way then to take two of their finest?" Sebastian said. Alec looked to the front of the carraige to the driver. Sure enough silvery hair sat on the devils head. Magnus looked at Alec. They were in more trouble than expected. "Oh, come one. Say something. You must be somewhat excited to see me." He said in a voice that didnt at all sound inviting.

"Let Alexander go. Just keep me." Magnus pleaded. Alec looked to him in surprise. If anything, Magnus was getting out and not him. And, he was fine with that. If Magnus was safe then he could be at peace.

"And what would be the fun in that?" Sebatian said with a snicker. That silenced everyone. As the carraige lifted up in the air, Alec closed the curtains. He no longer felt like looking at the world below him. A sweet smell reached his and Magnus' noses. A thick smelling substance that was causing him to feel faint. Moments later they were both asleep.

When they woke, they found themselves in a small bedroom. They glanced at eachother and then stood up and darted to the door. The whole room was white, including the queen sized bed they were just in moments ago. Finding the door locked, Alec began to pound his fists on it. Minutes passed until Magnus pulled him away and turned Alec to face himself.

"Alexander, darling. Listen to me. We are going to be fine. I promise I wont let him hurt you. Please, just stay calm. Focus on the sound of my voice, and nothing else. You see, we are together. We will be okay. Are you listening to me? If we cooperate and dont fight him, I can assure you that we will be alright." He told him. Then he pulled Alec into a hug as the shadowhunter began to cry. He couldnt blame him. He would be to if he werent trying to keep his hopes up for Alec.

It seemed like hours had passed before Alec stopped crying. There was no way to tell. The only light in the room was provided by the faint flicker of a lamp next to their bed. Part of the wall opened slitely and two trays were pushed in. They were being treated like animals. Maybe thats what they were seen as. Neither of them had a clue where they were. Next to the bad they quickly dicovered that the door lead to the bathroom. After eating their Toast, oatmeal, and drinking their warm milk, they took turns showering. There was a small drawer of their clothes in their. If it werent for the fact that they were sruck in the room, this would be sort of nice.

No one spoke. Neither boy wanted to speak from fear of being heard by the wrong person. Late at night when they would finally lay in bed, Alec would curl into magnus' side and cry. Every night was the same rutine. Every night Alec would cry himself to sleep, and Magnus would dream of his past life. Of all the hated things that were ever done to him. If Alec werent there he was sure he would have killed himself. Soon enough both boys were aware that it was likely that years had passed. Alec was growing older, and his body had grown weak.

That is, until they finally got a visit. The new High Warlock of Brookly, to be exact. He came in, made Alec immortal, and left like that. Now the two were sure they would be spending the rest of eternity in here. The phone that was in the bathroom rang. It had no buttons, so they couldnt make calls. But it rang. It was late at night, and Alec was sleeping. Magnus raced over and answered it. FOr a moment, there was nothing but silence. Then a voice came through.

"Hello Magnus." Sebastian said. He sounded the same. How long had they truly been in here? "I just figured you would be curious. The only channel that would play at the Institute for the past 5 years is the footage you Alec and yourself being trapped in there. Your families screamed and begged for you back, but were glad to know you were okay." Magnus stayed silent. Five years. Had it really been five years?

"Why?" Magnus finally asked. Sebastian laughed.

"Why, what?" Magnus sighed. He hated it when people answered questions with questions.

"Why keep us so long? Why not just kill us?" He explained. The silence returned.

"Because, Magnus. I knew I would one day be freeing you. Not today, not tomorrow. Someday, though. Perhaps when your family is gone and you both have to start new. Perhaps when a century passes by, and everything seems alien to you. Maybe when Alec and yourself grow tired of eachother. Desisions arent my favorite thing in the world, you know." He said, and hing up. Magnus angrily threw the phone at the ground, sending it into peices. Then he raced into the bedroom and shook Alec awake.

"Alec! Alexander! Please wake up!" He said quickly, and repetitivly. Finally, Alec slowly opened his eyes and stared up at his boyfriend. The same sadnees and anger built up behind them. Five years worth of emotions seemed to come so clear in a matter of seconds.

"What is it?" He said groggily. Their dinner still hadnt arrived. That came around what they assumed was 4 am. Would that make it breakfast? Maybe. That didnt matter.

"Alexander, we have to get out of here." Magnus whispered. A loud bang came on the door, followed by a voice.

"Not your best idea, warlock." It wasRobert Lightwood. On course he had something to do with this. No more words came. Nothing else was said. Both just stayed quiet, and stared at the door until foor arrived. They quickly ate and went into the bathroom. Both had the same idea. Magnus picked up the broken peices of the phone while Alec ran his hand along the wall looking for a soft spot. Finally he found one, and Magnus handed him a peice of the shattered remains. Alec carefully alined the pointed edge to the soft spot and hit it. His hand started to bleed, but he continued this for a while. Eventually, a crack appeared in the wall. Not overly big, but is was noticable.

Alec reached out his hand once again. This time, Magnus handed him a larger peice of the phone that wasnt so sharp, but rather large. Alec repeated that same action as last time and continued hitting i until his skin was raw and bloody. A dent was now visible in the wall. Magnus and him switched. Alec began washing his hand and bandaged it with one of his shirts from the dresser.

Only about an hout later Magnus stood up joyfully. A whole was now visible and sunlight poured through it. Yes, it would need to be bigger. They heard their breakfast arrive and they turned on the shower and rinsed their hair so it wasnt suspicious. Magnusquickly placed a small piece of plasted back in the whole and exited the room. The usual meal was arranged neatly on the tray. The same thing they had for three meals a day.

Tomorrow, they would work further on their escape.
