chapter 4

Lydia has been found a few weeks later in the woods. Naked. Ariel father had called her and said stiles had fainted because of it and wanted her to come get stiles and bring him home. So like the good big sister she is, she went and got him.

It was a Tuesday afternoon and Ariel was waiting for Nathan to get home from school so she could talk to him. She saw Nathan come through the door and told him to sit down.

Ariel said "I know a lot has change over the year and it's happening really fast for you, I just want to let you know that you can talk to me about anything."

Nathan looked at his mother and said "Do you miss dad?"

Ariel said "Yes."

Nathan said "I hear sometimes crying at night."

Ariel said "I miss your father, there is not a day go by that I don't, did Derek talk to you about anything?"

Nathan looked down for a second and said "Yea, he came by the night dad died and said it was for the best because he had killed Laura and was hurting everyone, and just the other day he ask me join his pack."

Ariel remember Derek coming to her about Nathan joining his pack, she doesn't like that at all.

"Whatever you decide, I am behind one hundred percent." Said Ariel

Nathan went over and hugs his mom saying "Thanks, I don't know if I want to join but I'll think about it."

Ariel nodded and said "Ok, go do your homework while I fix us dinner."

Nathan nodded and went upstairs.

The Argent House

Gerard was planning something behind his family back. Gerard had pulled Chris to side and said "I want to know what's going on between you and that woman Ariel."

Chris said "There is nothing going on, I had help years ago, plus I know she loves her husband."

Gerard said "Who is that?"
Chris was uncertain if he should tell are not.

"I don't know, she never told me." He lied.

Gerard looked Chris right in the eye and said "I hope you're lying to me just to protect her."

Chris said "I'm not."

Gerard smiled and said "Good, now let's get down to business."
