chapter 5

It was a Friday when Ariel got a call from Scott saying that Derek was going to turn some boy named Isaac, and he wanted Ariel to talk to him.

So Ariel called Derek and asks where he was, he had told some train deep in the woods.

When Ariel got there, she said "So you decided to upgrade?"

Derek came out the shadows and said "I need some place for my new recruits."

Ariel said "I heard that you want to give the bit to a boy name Isaac."

Derek nodded his head and said "I do."

"Why?" said Ariel

Derek said "I found out the boy is getting abuse by his father, I want to give a new life."

Ariel said "You can't just give the bit to anyone; you should have called the police if he is getting abuse."

Derek looked at her and said "What good would that do, there is nothing the police can do, and I am giving him a new life."

Ariel looked down for a second and looked at Derek and said "I don't like this at all, with you just giving the bit to almost anyone, and new hunters coming into town, it's just too much."

Derek said "I know."

Ariel said "So when are you going to give him the bit?"

Derek said "Soon, has Nathan made his mind yet?"

"I don't know, he's been hanging around Scott and Stiles lately." Said Ariel

"Where is he?" said Derek

Ariel said "he is with my dad, look I have to go, try not get in too much trouble."

Derek grinned at her and said "I'll try not to."

Ariel smiled and went home.

Finally the weekend came Ariel and Nathan rode to her father house. When they got there, they only Stiles car. They both got out of the car and Nathan ran to the door to ring the doorbell. Stiles said "Come on in, there is something me and Scott have to tell you."

Ariel said "Ok, Nathan why don't go watch TV."

Nathan "Mom, I'm a werewolf now I can still hear you."

Ariel rolled her eyes and said "Ok, why don't you listen to your IPod and put it on full blast."

Nathan said "Come on mom, please I won't tell anyone."

Ariel just gave him the look and Nathan put his head down and went to sit in the living room and listen to his IPod.

Stiles and Ariel went upstairs and saw Scott sitting on the bed.

Ariel looked both of them and said "What's going on?"

Scott said "Something is wrong with Jackson, Derek gave him the bite and now his body is not responding right to it."

Ariel said "So what are you guys going to do?"

Stiles looked at his sister and said "We don't know."
