---------Fade to black, panting is heard--------

He won't get away from me this time!, thought young huntress, Wendy Waters. After 6 long years, the young woman had finally tracked and cornered the vampire that had killed her mother. She had caught him in the woods outside her small cottage on the outskirts of the city of Cardiff, Wales and was now following the vampire king through the dark forest, her crossbow at the ready. Wendy continued to follow the shadow of the beast, who was jumping from treetop to treetop. I'll catch him! I just have to.....woah!, she yelped as a rogue tree root tripped her."Bloody hell," Wendy cursed, standing and brushing off her blue dress and untying her braided bun, letting her braid fall loose behind her. Great, now I've lost him!, the young huntress thought, looking around as she picked up her crossbow. Suddenly, Wendy heard a rustling from the nearby woods, which she knew lead to the road. Slowly, she stepped off the path, following the sounds of hissing and a screaming rabbit. As she slipped out of the woods, in the light of the full moon, Wendy saw the vampire slowly standing after drinking a rabbit dry. The vampire was dressed in a brown topcoat, which covered a forest green vest and white dress shirt. He wore brown trousers that matched the topcoat and his brown hair was covered by a black cap. Black leather shoes, slightly damp from the blood and recent rain made a soft scuffling noise as the creature turned slightly, cleaning the blood from the corner of his mouth with one gloved hand, the black gloves hiding any stains that may be on them. You won't escape now, Wendy thought as she raised her crossbow, taking careful aim at the back of the beast, her finger resting on the trigger. As she was about to fire, the vampire chuckled evilly. "I don't think I got your name madame," he cooed, turning to face the ginger huntress. "Like I would even tell you that vampire scum," she growled. "So be it, I can find out on my own!" The vampire snapped, turning away and jumping into the treetops again, leaving Wendy standing there on the moonlit road. "Bloody hell!" Wendy snapped, throwing her crossbow to the gravel at her feet.
